Seems like a good time to ask the famous 10 again, there are many others but these'll do for starters. PS none of these have ever been attempted let alone answered, which is odd because they are very pertinent for a Country proposing to leave the UK.
1) How will you replace the funding you get from England?
2) Are you happy to continue using the pound but have no control of it?
3) How will you service your part of the national debt?
4) How will you stop the inevitable exodus to England once the decision has been made?
5) Will you continue to offer free prescriptions, university etc ?
6) …if so how far are you prepared to raise taxes for those that remain?
7) How will you attract investment to, what will have to be a high taxation area?
8) How will you replace and fund the parts of the UK infrastructure that you now take for granted? Eg military, police, public transport?
9) are you prepared to adopt the EURO as a condition of joining the EUSSR?
10) Are you prepared to construct a border as a condition of joining the EUSSR?

The SNP have never addressed any of the above perhaps our resident "independence" supporters would like to have a go.

With you on that Naomi. Only let the rest of have a say too, I reckon they would get their way hands down if that was done.
// if only to ensure I'm not paying in the future, not one penny.//
no you will
this is / this would be like a contested divorce
one party demands cat litter in the Belgian Congo 1958-1961 must be accounted for somewhere....( on the grounds of fairness and equity of course)
.... that were done
( second class idea expressed in a second class way).

(imperf subjunctive needed as the conditional is 'closed')
Originally it was all about money from North sea oil belonging to the Scots. Now that oil and gas are the fuels of Satan, she has jumped on the eco bandwagon, that's a big chunk of income they won't have if they did become independent and she goes for the carbon neutral rubbish. How on earth would they survive without the handouts from Westminster?
"thrutching"????Surely a new word in the vocabulary of Peter.Amazing.I might use it myself a few times.
They wouldn’t survive without the Westminster handouts, Dave, but I think realistic Scots know that and for that reason among others a second referendum would fail just as the first one did. Let’s just get it over with and be done with it. Personally I don’t care if they stay or go.

dave: "Originally it was all about money from North sea oil belonging to the Scots. Now that oil and gas are the fuels of Satan, she has jumped on the eco bandwagon," - yes but even that was flawed, they don't own the North Sea.
TTT, are you desperate for them to stay?
I have absolutely no idea why TTT is so against another referendum. He has a deep hatred of the Scots you would think he would be glad to get rid of us. Or maybe not? He won't be voting in any case so wouldn't worry what he thinks.
Question Author
no naomi.
TTT doesn’t hate Scotland, maggiebee - but there’s no doubt some Scots hate England and the English.
In that case, TTT, I don’t understand why you argue so strongly against a second referendum.
Question Author
maggie: "I have absolutely no idea why TTT is so against another referendum. He has a deep hatred of the Scots you would think he would be glad to get rid of us." - no it's because I have a fondness for them that I don't want them to jump into an unknown abyss following an obsessive Nationalist.
"He won't be voting in any case so wouldn't worry what he thinks. " - Perhaps not but it will affect the whole UK, if only by what the EUSSR inflict on you, I am concerned about that too. Some say the whole UK should vote if we are going to. We have enough problems with NI, can you imagine building a land border because that will be what the EUSSR want, we wont build one but the EUSSR will make it a condition just to annoy the rest of the UK. Do you want a border? Do you want to have to use the Euro? etc etc because that will be what you will be signing up for.
Question Author
naomi 16:55, see my answer at 16:57. Nationalist fervour has gripped many Scots, without invoking Godwin's law I worry where it's leading.
Where do you suspect it’s leading, TTT?
The SNP claims to be a nationalist, socialist,Scottish workers party. Its bound to work out well for all involved.
Scotland does not want a referendum or separation. Nicola and her Bravehearters do.. They shout loud and long and give a misleading and inaccurate picture to the world.. Its all about Queen Nicola and is very tiresome
@17.10.Nah,just Wee Burney pandering to her workshy Anglophobic followers.Just ignore.
the last time you asked this it was ///So 8 Years Is A "Generation" In Scotland? Right Oh!///
