Wonder if it’s on the same plane though? It would make sense if they’re going there on official business.

I guess Johnson will leave his cabinet to firefight the fallout from 2 extremely important by elections? Better to face HRH than his own party.

Illegal? Not for me.
He went with the information presented by the intelligence and security services at the time.

Johnson on the other hand ignored similar advice recently about Lebedev, which he ignored and won’t make public. All the time we were worried about Corbyn and the Commies when in reality the Tory Party has and had ties with Russians that would’ve made even Michael Foot envious.

Nope.

The Attorney General said that everything was legal and above board. And Blair has never been prosecuted for any illegal wars.

From that link.
In the wake of the attack, there was also considerable talk of a tougher line over Russian money and influence in London. But there has been relatively little public sign of action.
The failure to publish the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee's "Russia Report" about influence and subversion in British life before the election has only added to questions as to whether the appetite to deal with this broader issue remains strong.

Lest we forget…

Blair and the Labour Government faced considerable opposition to war in Iraq. Alister Cooke standing out as a fierce opponent.
In the Commons vote 84 Labour MPs rebelled and voted against the Labour Government. While 146 voted with Blair for war.

So stop coming out with all the hindsight BS.
