The surprise, cowardly, all guns blazing attack on the indomitable force that is Boris has failed. For 6 months, our tax funded "news" provider and the previously untouchable, unrelected, civil service employees have maintained a non stop campaign to usurp an elected leader of out Parliament. I they had got away with it we may as well have scrapped voting...

> Sir Beer Korma

Yeah, that was very classy. What a Muppet Moment that was.
oooh I can't wait, I don't trust that Smear whatsoever.
I just wish they’d all grow up and shut up - but I don’t suppose they will. :o(

I'd love to know how many of the Boris name callers and haters sat at home during the pandemic waiting for others to continue working on their behalf. They were completely cut off from reality and remain there classing everyone as liars and rule breakers totally unaware of what pressure and personal risk health wise many took to keep the country running. They deserve medals, not being maligned at every opportunity.
The show's over & the fat lady has sung.
.
With you on that Naomi.

Time for all to just move on. Many more important things to be addressed.
// I just wish they’d all grow up and shut up //
a very heartening word of support of free speech and expression

it's all over and nothing to see....cheers Boris!
The surprise, cowardly, all guns blazing attack on the indomitable force that is Boris has failed. For 6 months, our tax funded "news" provider and the previously untouchable, unrelected, civil service employees have maintained a non stop campaign to usurp an elected leader of out Parliament. I they had got away with it we may as well have scrapped voting and elections and had a tee vee show to decide who was the figurehead of their choice of policy announcer. The non stop 6 month, tax payer funded, attack on out Prime Minister was not about Birthday cake or vino collapso after work, but about who gets to make policy and budget plans for the Nation. They knew that the licence fee was under review and that it was going to spell the end of their comfortable, unaccountable, life styles and non stop perks when it was rightly scrapped. The civil service had felt the hot breath of accountability on their brazen brass necks too, and do not like it one bit. First job tomorrow Boris scrap the tv licence fee and clear the lreft wing commie swamp out of Westminster. The people (the ones who care for Britain anyway) are with you.
One good outcome from all this is that no politician can ever force the population into another catastrophic lockdown ever again and I don't care what dire warnings they might try and threaten us with. Never again
//I they had got away with it// ... Had they got away with it

//elected leader of out Parliament// ... elected leader of our Parliament

//clear the lreft wing commie swamp// ... clear the left wing commie swamp

It's actually barking mad, but, hey :-)

I mean, I am also fed up with the whole darned thing too and I suspect rubygate or whatever will die a very rapid death.
Johnson's fate will be determined by his MPs - that was always the case and hasn't changed.
Ichkeria '@ 20.46.
" Johnsons fate will be determined by his Mps"
The Tory Parties Fate will be determined by the electorate at 2024. That was always the case and hasn't changed
If it came out that Boris dined on new-born kittens, you can bet that Fanboy Shoutypants would be on here saying "what about Starmer eating a hot dog?"
For the people who seemingly cheer in respect of Boris getting off, and the Met almost turning a blind eye, plus Boris's band of merry men who also are now turning the other cheek, I would think on.

When you have a PM who lies in parliament and to the population backed by his own MP,s you have one thing, and one thing only, a crooked government that's plain to see.

What does this achieve? It sends a message to everyone, you can break the laws of the land, and land on your feet smelling of roses.
No one now, or in the near future will care what the law is because these devious acts by Boris and his
MP's will stay uppermost in peoples minds, especially the families who lost there loved ones, or had a really hard time during the lock downs.

Boris stuck his 2 fingers up at the British public, because he thinks he can, he's very wrong and it won't be to long before he finds out.
Last night I robbed a bank, shot my next door neighbour, set fire to a school, etc etc but I apologise, I've learned my lesson, I won't do it again, so time to move on.

I should add that this is sarcasm, I am not a 5C raving commie leftie, just someone incredulous at some of the postings on this thread.
Never in the field of human conflict was so much fuss made by so many over so little.
easily deluded fools
Tomorrow just watch - there will be announced a relief program for household heating bills

is this Blessed Boris relieving poverty single handedly
or is he trying to divert attention by announcing distraction

what a way to run a country
// Never in the field .....made by so many over so little.//

trite crap - - war of Jenkins ear 1739 springs to mind
any invasion scare
hanging the monkey as a French spy Hartlepool
satanic abuse 1980

the list of gullible Abers believing incredible rubbish is endless
Look at the pictures. Sir Keir's 'crime' is not in the same league.

I still think even now, that Boris doesn't get it.
Togo's starting to sound a bit like PP.
