William Browder paints an astonishing and chilling first-hand picture of the man. This Ted talk is well worth a quarter of an hour of your time:

He’s a very brave man Bill.
I hope to read his book

I watched it last night & was amazed at his ability to recall so many details of dates & information without notes (I struggle to remember my own phone number!)
I think you could sense so much felt emotion about his friend, he saw it as not only a private vendetta, but as some form of public confession.
Brain & feeling, - quite a guy.
I think he may have all his notes fed to him from the two large screens on the stage floor, Khandro.
What a very brave man Sergei Magnitsky was.
wow that's incredible Khandro, there's 2 books out there, not sure which is the best one to get, any suggestions?
Just Bought "Red Notice" - I'll probably get "Freezing order" after I've read that.

TTT, I haven' read either of those books & didn't know of them until now, I shall likely alter that though.
I stumbled on the TEDx talk by accident last night.
Bring on 'The Khashoggi Act' ( don't hold your breath...maybe just your nose? ... or 'suspend disbelief' entirely ?)

////// In April 2015, he[ BROWDER ] was required to appear in court. Under oath and confronted with numerous documents, he answered meekly -- quite differently than during his public appearances. Lawyer Mark Cymrot, a surly litigator with a moustache, spent six hours examining him. Cymrot asked: Was Magnitsky a lawyer or a tax expert?

He was "acting in court representing me," Browder replied.

And he had a law degree in Russia?

"I'm not aware he did."

Did he go to law school?

"No."

How many times have you said Mr. Magnitsky is a lawyer? Fifty? A hundred? Two hundred?

"I don't know."

Have you ever told anybody that he didn't go to law school and didn't have a law degree?

"No." \\\\\

I’ve read an excerpt from the latest. Def worth it I think

sevenOP: Does it make any difference if you're a lawyer or a tax expert when being beaten to death with iron bars by Putin's thugs in a freezing cellar?
// Cymrot asked: Was Magnitsky a lawyer or a tax expert?//
surely the answer if it were not magnitsky

"you are gonna have to ask him" - the rest is hearsay or being badgered about hearsay - but bah golly looks good on tv

Is khandie an expert on assyrian and german? I dunno, ask him.

More from Browder in today's Express:

"His [ Putin's ] heartbeat doesn't start going faster when someone is being killed right in front of him.

"He could kill 100, 1000, 10,000 or a million and it wouldn't affect his feelings at all.

"He has no feelings of empathy whatsoever, he's a cold-blooded killer and the only thing he feels is fear for his own safety."

Khandro, I started reading "Red Notice" - brilliant, can't put it down on ch 4 already! Recommend it, I'll get "Freezing Order" next.
He's being interviewed on Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 show today (Wed) at 1pm.
