Thats because His Tonyness was Blue labour, just as I consider Johnson to be Red Conservative.

I thought that Johnson was sacked from his journalist job for making up stuff which he claimed was true (i.e. lying) . I also seem to remember someone who was at school with him saying that he was a little *** at school and hasn't changed since then.
He reminds me of Harry Flashman without the svelte silhouette, the dashing moustaches, and the physical prowess on the battlefield. And, of course, without the self-awareness to admit in his memoirs that he is an utter cad.
