It took the jury 18 minutes to find him guilty. The tax payer will now have to keep him for the rest of his life.Surely a lethal injection would be more appropriate.

it would but we don't do that.
considering his answers
purpose ? terror
18 m seems a bit long
What did he do?

Unfortunately where people like him are concerned.
Yes, there are quite a few that could join the queue.
I don’t agree with the death penalty - not any “state sanctioned murder” reasons that the hand wringers usually come out with.

I don’t agree with the death penalty simply because I believe being jailed forever (if it is forever) is much worse than the death penalty.

I hope he rots in jail until he dies of old age, and I’m happy for my tax to pay for it.
he is the one that stabbed the MP ( and killed him)
Harbi means war-like

from the reports, he wished to DDDDIIIIIIIEEEEEE
because he wd go straight to heaven...
well said DD
I hate the wave of "hang'em high - flog em and burn their eyes out !" these cases always elicit on AB
In fact I should a classic TTT count down on that one

Peter Pedant these fanatics are becoming more and more dangerous.Surely something needs to be done to curb this radicalisation.
So you want to make a good person in to a killer? You want a judge to order someone to be put to death?
Let this monster live with the consequences of his actions and don't give him an easy escape or be made in to a martyr
Question Author
We always did Barry1010 and in cases like this there is no doubt of his guilt. Also talking of living with the consequences, what about Sir David’s Wife and family they will forever remember this event and the loss of a Husband and Father and someone who was one of those good men you mentioned.
Well he will be looked after for the rest of his life. Fed,clothed, probably given a tv and a computer.Exercise and educational lessons. The only thing he won' t have is freedom.. He will have plenty of company of a similar kind. The prisons are filling up with murderers and terrorists. He will have medical treatment whenever he needs it and when he is old and infirm will probably be taken into a hospital and cared for . Not exactly the life that I would want him to have. In fact I would not have a minutes hesitation in giving him a lethal injection.
Question Author
Well said Andres.I must have inadvertently pressed David Small’s answer earlier as would have chosen yours.

Thanks grumpy but David's answer is very appropriate.^^^
bring back hanging!
What on earth were the jury discussing for 18 minutes?
Formalities gg. Electing a foreman and then going around the table letting everyone have a say, and then voting. That would cover 18 mins.
Ten years in a hell hole of a prison with hard labour, not a UK 'holiday camp' then dispatched.

Thats ten years waiting to die and thinking about what he did. Then dispatched to prevent liberal handwringers trying to get him out.
