Boris is a giant spoilt baby. He needs to be spoilt and pampered or he can't function. Carrie knows this which is why she organised a birthday party for him while 7-year-old girls were cancelling their own. No party and he would have been in a huge sulk and we might have threatened Russia or something. What other explanation is there for a birthday party for him?...

Jaguar land rover drug test new staff before they start on the production line. Not sure if they are randomly tested as an outgoing thing.

I really don't give a monkey's who had parties during lockdown I do care that there are far bigger issues that need attention right now. I am with DTC on this one.
The patterns clear... parties galore... rules can be bent for downing street. But the thread title here is missleading as it seems or is claimed he didn't hold it.... someone else did ... but he should of closed it down
//I know that a lot of Cityfirms regular do drink and drug tests on their employees.//

Oh really? Well I spent a lot of time working in the City and neither I nor the people I mixed with ever saw that. Have you seen how busy the pubs are at lunchtime in the City?
I really don’t see anything wrong with the latest ‘party’. Apparently someone brought in a cake and the staff sang happy birthday to him after a meeting. Nothing to see here.

And I am not a Johnson fan, btw.
It's all got very stupid. I despair. All I can say is that Cummins knew how easy it would be to whip up the sheep .

Latest from Sky News :

Met Police is investigating Downing Street parties
The force will be investigating "a number" of incidences over the last two years in Downing Street and Whitehall, Met Police Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick says.
She says the criteria for investigating past breaches of COVID rules has been met thanks to information provided by the Cabinet Office along with the force's own officers.
However, she says the force has "assessed several other events that appear to have taken place" which did not meet the threshold for criminal investigation.

So the Met are at least finally taking action

Not sure this has anything to do with Cummings
He has already admitted that he had most of his dealings with the bbc(he named Laura Keunnsberg when in front of the parliamentary panel) as they were the most reputable source during many wild speculative headlines amidst the pandemic

I daresay there are quite a few who are blabbing in an attempt to avoid the fallout from the Gray report now that they have been spoken to by her and her team

That said it is just over 24 hours until the next PMQs

Plenty of time yet for more drip feeding before the event

Still marvelling at the affront of Boris who as someone has said this morning ‘no longer has the moral authority to lead the country’
The 1922 committee must be inundated by now surely ?
Lottie, I agree with you. I've always thought it a case of little things pleasing little minds.

I suppose blind devotion will give you that skewed view
Especially when the Met taking action is now the breaking headline story on the bbc and the whole sorry saga is the focus of the mainstream media in this country
Your excitement is palpable, Sticky. :o)

As excited as Boris was whilst having his birthday party after praising a 7 year old for postponing hers !
I wonder if he saved her a piece of HIS cake ? Lol

Are you not curious to see who the next Prime Minister will be ?

I will wager that there is a lot of excitement in Westminster right now
I am not devoted to Boris, and I am sure Naomi isn't either. I am sick of people constantly making stupid accusations. It's so childish. S
The sue grey report is overdue is it not ?

Indeed !
Absolutely dreadful that investigative journalism is used to hold the PM and government to account for their alleged illegal activities whilst the country were doing their utmost to follow the strict legislation(including the monarch) set by said government !
How very dare they ! Lol
the pages on here are becoming frenzied about Boris, nothing said about the lower than a snakes belly Cummings ?
Cummings isn't the PM Bobs.

Cummings does not make legislation nor abide by a ministerial code
Neither does he report once a week to the queen on matters of government

Boris has made the position of PM of this country untenable and a laughing stock
Not to mention inflaming the ire of the public

His party cannot let this continue for much longer one feels
I am sick of the whole affair.

In my mind Boris is guilty, has mislead Parliament and needs investigating by the Metropolitan Police......which is happening.

The Grey report is a waste of time, particularly now the Met is involved.

Should he go or should he stay depends upon Parliament or more specifically the Conservative Party.

What really makes me "puke" is TV channels raking up any body who can relate a sob story about their mother or father's funeral being not the event that was planned, or the little girl who couldn't have her birthday bash...etc..etc....Yes the shenanigans in No 10 were wrong but dragging up anyone who could tell a sob story whilst No10 were allegedly partying, leaves me cold....just get on with life.
