From the Sky News page referencing the Downibg St Police officers :

Cummings says he will not speak to Sue Gray in person - and warns more damaging stories will come out about Boris Johnson
Dominic Cummings, the PM's former top aide, has told subscribers to his substack page that he will not speak to Sue Gray in person due to concerns his former boss will "invent nonsense" to discredit him.
Instead, he has given his account in writing to the civil servant investigating Downing Street parties.
And Mr Cummings warned there will be more damaging stories about the PM until the point he steps - or is forced to step - down.
The ex-aide writes: "It's reported everywhere that I am seeing Sue Gray today. This is wrong. I am not seeing/talking to her. Why?
"Since leaving government I've tried to help with a few things, some directly and some very quietly.
"One such thing involved discussing the security services. Only me and two officials knew what I said. They briefed the PM. Within minutes, one of the lobby infamous for being a stooge was calling the Cabinet Office making claims about MI5 and me. The officials apologised and said, reasonably, the system doesn't work when a PM behaves like this.
"So when SG asked to speak to me I emailed to the effect: if we speak the PM will invent nonsense and spin it to the media and you and I will both have problems, let's keep everything in writing, therefore he cannot invent things I've supposedly said to you, there is only a written record, this makes both our lives easier. She agreed. So I have answered questions in writing and will answer further questions in writing if she wants. But I will not speak and therefore provide the PM with more chances to lie and confuse everybody."
Mr Cummings also expressed concern about flaws in the investigation process - namely that Mr Johnson will see everything Ms Gray collected.
"This inevitably means that evidence, including photos, is not given to her and instead will keep leaking after her report. (To stress, this is a consequence of beliefs about the PM's integrity, not SG's.)"

Sounds very damning !

Aye, Johnson put upon and betrayed, Cummings traitor. All very black and white for the terminally faithful. Except that a run out in the car + subsequent lies doesn't trump constant lies and disinformation from one who is supposed to be the leader of the government of our country. The clown is unfit for office, and in that I include any office, even the back room...

*coup de grace

Although an anagram of frace is how it is looking for Boris and his governmental style ! Lol
What a rat this man is, apart from smug satisfaction he must be getting, what’s he gaining? he’s full of hatred and the type no one will ever trust , they’d be bothered he will put a knife in there back
Boris is unlikely to wriggle out of this anyway.
But Cummins has a nasty revengefull streak running through him as his determined to do what he can to get Boris out... and shows no gratitude for the leniency shown by Boris to his obvious lies and failings over the Barnard Castle farce. His such a rat it almost (but not quite) make's me want to see Boris survive and Cummins ignored and treated with the contempt he deserves
Revenge is the word I think you're looking for Bobbi
I don’t think he’s doing himself any favours CJ, Boris ‘wrongly’ stood by him and didn’t sack him like he should of, so revenge for what?
Sorry , that should be Margo T

As I said on Gromits thread yesterday
Cummings is holding the government to account but is also ensuring that the report does not become a whitewash

He has them over the pump by making sure the enquiries are thorough and in depth

Given that she has even spoken to Downing St police officers who have(if reports are correct) given and I quote
‘Extremely damning evidence’ it would seem that Cummings is ensuring this happens
An adage for Boris :

'Be careful who you stand on, on your way up, as you will meet them on the way down'

Let him do what he’s going to do and be done with it one way or another.
Nah- its personal , he's ungrateful and wants personal revenge for something .... and whys he suddenly all for the truth now when he was clearly making fools of everyone with his obvious untruths about his own lockdown breaches... I hope Boris or his successor gets those reviisted and Cummins gets a taste of he;s own medicine

Noyt me Dougie- Boris is done for anyway, rightly so , cant see anyway out.... but whatever happens I still despise Cummins whose a nasty piece of work whose been looking to get revenge at every opportunerty on any topic whether its lockdowns or parties or anything
Funny no one is concerned that the PM is leaking national security stuff, but instead go after the messenger.
They are both dodgy characters.
Cummings is dangerous because he IS very clever.
Johnson is dangerous because he is NOT very clever.

Looking forward to what the Downing St police officers have had to say !

I wonder if they were called something other than plebs ?

You sound resigned to his(Boris) fate naomi ?
Not at all. What happens will happen. I just want this constant animosity over … at least until it starts again.
its only damaging if you believe his guff.i don't,little man with a big ego
As I have said many times on here, DC is a very clever strategist. Why Carrie Simmonds (as she was at the time) thought she could oust him (via Johnsons Johnson) and install her mates and get away with it is beyond belief. I have no reason to doubt DC, he will undoubtedly have documented evidence on all this, yes it is revenge but if there is truth then so what.

Johnson needs to go not only for then continual lies but mainly for the fact he is now a green liberal not a Conservative. Voters didnt vote for the Greens they voted Tory, he should have told his bit on the side, later yet another Missus, to shut it and be the PM's wife and not thing she was a First Lady or PM.

Hopefully Pickfords will be at No11 before the week is out, I just feel sorry for the poor sod that gets the Turkish Brothel dressed flat.

For the love of God (and sake of the Party), GO!

I never believe his guff
But at 5 ft 9 ins is Boris considered little ?
Is that not about average ? I am 5 ft 11 ins btw
I can only see this ending badly for Boris, it's just not going away. He's hanging on by the skin of his teeth !
I absolutely agree with ymb:
Cummings is a master.
It’s not a fair fight really :-)

This latest birthday party revrkstuij could be the coup de grace, coup de frace, or even Tour de France as in “on your bike” :-)
