Camilla's popularity with the public is on the up. Should she, when the time comes, become Queen?

Personally, I think she's doing a good job so I would be happy to see her take her place beside Charles as his queen. What say you?

Yes, she has paid her dues, completed the course and passed with flying colours.

//He's not had the years of training, and he might turn out to be useless.// //Our poor Queen was thrust into the position when she was far too young//

Let's not forget that William hits the big four-o this year.....
Your tight DTC.

I just found this. Very interesting. Our youngest king was 12!

Tight!! I am not implying you are under the influence of drink or mean with your wallet. Obviously I meant right. ;0)
"Prince Charles is descended from an uninterrupted line of monarchy which stretches back over one thousand years." - end of.
I was very wrong. Henry 6 was 9 months old when he became King!!
what it says is Diana had more English royal blood in her veins. Charles has lots of German, Greek/Danish, Scots, Welsh and so forth. A proper Euro-king.
Mary Queen of Scots was six days old.
Wow,jno. Interesting. Richard the lion heart looks very handsome!!
Pat - you are forgiven, though the bank may say my account is tight at the moment!
:0))
Have you seen the King Henry III coin found in a field recently and coming up for auction - an estimate of £500k for it...hope the nation buys it.

pat, the thing about people who inherited the throne very young was that they were mostly bad rulers who came to a bad end. Ethelred the Unready, aged under ten, was definitely unready (I know that's not what the name really means). Henry 6, Richard 2, Edward 6. On the other hand the oldies weren't great either: Edward 7, William 4, George 4 - they'd all wasted decades doing nothing.
I really don't mind what title she's given but if forced to chose, I'd vote against out of respect for the Queen. Lets keep that title for a female monarch in the same way as King is reserved for a male monarch.
Sure she can do a good job without becoming Queen. Why would she want to be?
No.

But then I am of the republican way of thinking.
I don't see why not, but I don't know why it should matter to either us or them. She'll be the King's wife which is pretty good whatever the official title.
//Yes, Diana did have other partners but, apparently, only after she realised that Charles was never going to give up his affair with Camilla.//

I believe the current phrase is 'recollections may vary'.
Iff this is the sequence of events she certainly went for quantity whereas he stuck with quality.
The Royal family have been putting it around for centuries.
