The video I saw claimed it was something said on his show yesterday (or maybe Fri)
This link says it was a tweet. Either way it was criticizing vaccine mandates.
After all his 'controversial' views on Islam/Islamists the old covid done for him.

I don't know what his views are on anything, but freedom of speech to express them it seems he doesn't have.
Why don't the controllers of the meeja just do it themselves & cut out the middleman?
Question Author
Yep, bigger names than him have been sacked by bigger stations for not toeing the company line.
He was an Islamist, Khandro. Got locked up in an Egyptian prison and came out a reformed man. So he had a better insight than most into that side of life. (imo)
Who ?
The Maajid Nawaz you mention here

Gromit
LBC specialises in the shock jock genre.
Its presenters are largely employed for their ability to generate headlines for themselves, and the station. They do not pretend to be fair, impatial or non partisan. They hold strong opinions and use the airwaves to push their agenda.
The charges against Galloway would surely apply to other LBC employees such as Nigel Farage, Nick Ferrari,
Jacob Rees-Mogg and Maajid Nawaz.
13:39, ditto!
Freedom of speech is a privilege not a given certainty.
It you say something that is dangerous or could cause public harm, then it deserves to get banned.
Trump can advocate drinking disinfectant to ward off covid, but anyone who broadcast such nonsense deserves to be reprimanded.
This islamic wassock was spreading anti vaccing disinformation that could result in people dying, so I am very pleased he has been booted off the station.
Gromit//This islamic wassock was spreading anti vaccing disinformation that could result in people dying,//

Yet, in Spiceracks link in the OP it only says:

'Mr Nawaz, 43, who presented at the weekend on the London radio station, had queried the use of booster jabs amid the Omicron variant surge.'

As someone who refuses to have a booster jab for very sound reasons, I agree 100% with anyone else who is sceptical of them.
What do you know that we don't?
Khandro, what do you know that we don't know?
I know (up till now) that I have had no ill effects from vaccination. You think that you have had ill effects. We both know (I hope) that far more people have died from Covid than have died from vaccine.
Khandro
You had the first (or both) covid jabs, but refuse the third for “ for very sound reasons”.
There are no sound reasons not to have the third jab.
If I am wrong, please enlighten us.
Atheist // what do you know that we don't know?//

I know that after my second jab, I developed blood clots which gave me a stroke, put me in hospital & luckily through superb attention I avoided any obvious serious issues, though I've head a headache for 6 months & I'm having to take medication daily & probably for the rest of my days.

If I could put back the clock I wouldn't even have had the first two & there is no way I will take anymore.

All Mr Nawaz seems to have questioned is the practice of continuing to vaccinate for omicron which is only one variation of covid & there are going to be lots more, a top medico has said today that we can't go on vaccinating the world for every variant.

Khandro
That seems to be an argument against the first jabs, not the booster.
If your first jabs were AZ for example, and you hade side effects, you can have a Pfizer booster which is entirely different.
Khandro, you've told us about your clot before. The question is, was it caused by the vaccine? Neither of us know for certain, if we're honest. I can understand your fear, but my view is it's best to follow the most rational approach, a bit like gambling on the most likely winner, rather than some runner which happened to have a name coincidentally like my daughter, or a similar name to a previous winner.
From what I know of you from your posts I don't think you will accept what I say, as I feel you are motivated more by emotion and instinct than by cold logic.
I hope you stay well, and I hope you try to avoid passing on a virus even if you think it unlikely.
Question Author
Well, the consensus of expert opinion on here, Khandro, is just get on with it. Whack that vaccine into you.
What's the worst it can do, kill you?

I'll enlighten you. Stop giving out medical advice. You are not qualified.
And tell the other moron the same thing.
SPICERACK, who in this thread has claimed to be an expert?

The official Government advice is to have both jags and the booster which appears to be the advice you have an issue with.
If Khandro thinks the official Government advice is to have both jags and the booster isn't the right advice for him as an individual people should respect that...it's his body not yours. Be thankful you didn't have any adverse reaction to the jags/jabs that you had to take that course of action.
As a total non-expert, I agree absolutely with Roy - Khandro (and others) must make their choices based on what they have experienced so far.

I'm quite sure he will take care not only of himself but those around him.
Question Author
One more time, I'll put you straight.
The experts are the people issuing medical advice.
I don't have an issue with Government advice, I have no opinion on it.
I do know that some people are advised to have no vaccines on medical advice. Some are told not to take anymore after 1 or 2 doses.
Now I'll repeat my polite request. Please don't keep bothering me on this site.

LBC decided he was doing more harm than good with his anti-vaxxer twaddle, and sacked him with immediate effect. Well done them.
