Says Boris. (numbers released on 24th Dec)

it was 48% in November just as I said. Hopefully this will be the start of a bit more honesty from the powers that be and we can do away with anecdotal numbers that a reporter got from another bloke.

Honesty is all I have asked for.

//maybe Nailit just wasnt aware of the clear picture showed by the data.. His more likely to be interested in figures from royfromaus though//

Or MAYBE Nailit just likes to think for himself rather than believe what the BBC tells him eh?
thx for the ICNARC ref er Roy
I asked for that a month or so ago
slow but sure

I seem to remember first time round, you just hollered ya ya ya ya

oh
// London is pushing the numbers up because of all the unvaccinated they have.//
so..... we agree that unvaccinated people are pushing up the numbers ( the dirty dogs!) and all we are whining about is
the number.....

all I ask for ( haw haw haw) is honesty, woy, yes honesty

Drive Peter Lonker...drivel
Not the BBC Nailit

ICNARC – Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre.
there goverment figures and are in line with what doctors are saying. The press get the chance to question them. There not BBC figures.
But apart from that its good that people want more more info.

I;m not sure the 61% is done right but its consistent with all other reports... to me it dont matter whether its 50% or 80%. the overall conclusion is the same, its overwhelmling in favour of vaxxination to protect you from serious illness

Which doctors?
Most of the evidence used to say the ICU beds are full of the unvaccinated came from 'The secret consultant' and it was true was it.
The interesting figs are on p 44
and the bottom lines is 12 000 ITU - and 6000 invaccinated
which is give or take..... 50%

BUT vacca / unvacca is not binary as we wokes say
or all or none - as we olds say

there are four cats of vacca - one dose, two dose, boosted

jesus dont read this
look at fig 26 on page 45 - three flat lines and one hump in the unvacca'ed

and what does this have to do with Roy ?
game set and match to the crayzies who say get vacca'd or DDDDIIIIEEEEEE !

all I ask for is honesty.....

thx for the ICNARC ref

echoed in todays BMJ
https://www.bmj.com/content/376/bmj.o5

61% etc etc blah blah blah
arent we saying there are a lot of unvaccinated people on ITUs ?

shock horror

all I have asked for is honesty ( and a bit of sense in all this)

A third of people in London haven't had any jab at all pp...that's why London was chosen when they wanted an headline.

1 Third!
PP ~~"echoed in todays BMJ "

echo as in repeating /regurgitating the ICNARC 'data'.

61% of what number PP ?
Question Author
//The proportion of unvaccinated patients in intensive care varied by English region, with the highest rates recorded in London (66%), //

1 third of Londoners unvaxxed!
//Which doctors?
Most of the evidence used to say the ICU beds are full of the unvaccinated came from 'The secret consultant' and it was true was it.//

You got me huuming "my friend the witch doctor..." there.

Am not familiar with the secret consultant, just every interview with health professionals were saying the majority was unvaccinated,,,, I said several times the numbers of up to 80-90% seemed exaggerated but they were speaking for there hospitals and I agree that there the ones whose more likely to speak up, and they could have un-concious bias... but all along I said the same as I said before and what PeterPedant says, the actual figure is hard to pin down depending on defanitions (all ICU patient's or just the covid ones, if just covid is it 5000 primary covid cases or 7000 primary& secondary ) but it dont matter whether its 50% or 60%... the conclusions the same and clear as anything
Interesting royfromaus but someone misunderstood ...this based on ONS figure's says its actual 81% take up of first vaccination in London so 19& not 33% hav'nt taken it up

https://ukandeu.ac.uk/vaccination-have-a-third-of-londoners-really-not-had-any-covid-19-jabs/
"depending on defanitions"

or 'on defamations', as in the PP critique @ 20:33 Tue 04th Jan 2022 of Professor Bendell's analysis , with detailed refutations as invisible as actual numbers.
At least "1 third of Londoners unvaxxed!" is less vague.
//At least "1 third of Londoners unvaxxed!" is less vague.//

Maybe...but its meaningless if its so far wrong
Question Author
Are you looking at first dose roy (it was set to second).... but thats based on NIMS not ONS for the available population...we know the london popualtion includes all those in London 'driven out' by Brexit for starters .

But worrting about smaller details for one area dont change the overall UK picture does it for the overwelming effectivness of vaccines for reducing serious illness (and death)
Question Author
Anecdotally this third injection appears to have made more people ill than the first or second jab put together. Also I didn't know many who got ill with COVID pre vaccine.

I cannot see there being any appetite for a forth jab.
I saw in an online report today the quote"We cannot vaccinate the world every 4 months". How true.

I have had a saying for longer than I can care to remember, roy:
"The only truth you will ever know is your own".
