Tony Blair knighted and appointed to the Order of the Garter.Bit of a surprise considering he’s been such a divisive character.

It's good to see Max Woosey on the list.

Ah I didn't know ( or expect ) that, grumpy.
Perhaps the queen is expecting to need some high powered legal assistance very soon. Maybe Cherie will do mates rates
Well, he was responsible for giving Prince Harry something to do for a few years. That might've helped.
Given the illegal war he took us into, personally I find that a disgrace.

He has the blood of people his hands and has left people without wives, husbands, and has orphaned children.

A disgraceful award.
The One I think is unfair is Kate Garraway.

LOL LOL LOL
Does this mean Gordon, call me Dave and Theresa will get the same? And Boris?
A mockery. The so called honours awards are nothing of the kind when the creature Blair gets knotted.
Broadcasters have been honoured in the past, I don't begrudge Kate getting a Gong in recognition after 32 years in the job.

As there is only a limited number Hopkirk then it is effectively “dead man’s shoes.”
I know I say this every time, but I disagree with athletes being given a medal for winning a medal. I also disagree with people being knighted or given a damehood for doing their job and getting well-paid for it.

As for Tony Blair, well, I’m a Labour supporter, but… I can just see Cherie designing her new headed notepaper.
Well Done ...Tony Blair ..wish you were in Power now .
Instead of the Bumbling Mumbling fool at the moment ,who is not sure if he is ........Prime Minister or Peppa Pig...
Blair was elected three times, including after the Iraq war, so no complaints, the electorate has spoken.

Must admit I teared up when I read about his honour on the bbc website
This young man restores faith in humanity
Regardless of one’s political persuasion you have to admit that Frank Field has served tirelessly and I doubt there is anyone in Westminster who would have a bad word said against him
