£1,640 – Average spend per UK household on home improvements in 2020, a record thought to be due to lockdown making us spend more time at home.

£112,549 – Spend by Boris & Carrie Johnson on home improvements in 2020, although they got someone else to pay for it.

Not sure what there point is apart from trying to look clever
Its not even there home so maybe comparison should if been with others in temp accomodation

I guess the point is you saved up to pay for your kitchen while the Bojos improvements were paid for by someone else (taxpayers and a donor(s))
... & Bojo/Carrie live in rented accomodation with little security of tenure. (Recent events indicate even less security of tenure.)

But Bojo has always splashed lots of money around, especially when it wasn't his.

If he moves out soon (and keir moves in hopefully) boris won't rake the wallpaper with him so it's a gift to the next pm .

Not sure if Bozo moves out that Smarmy will be moving in, more likely Richy, Raaaab or Truss
