As a rule I don't get involved in politics, but couldn't resist just this once..

SO FUNNY.. BIZARRE.. YET ACTUAL REALITY AS UNBELIEVABLE AS IT SEEMS

'as they marvelled at the strangeness of the current political universe.'

To quote QUEEN..

'is this the real world or is this just fantasy'

"Planet Boris is the strangest place in the world - no rules apply,"
i am sure they do, but hey another thread about Boris, why not.......
Thank goodness, another Boris thread.
Thank you so much.
ABERS struggle to find mundane issues to disagree about, time after time.
This thread will get lots of mundane, recycled replies.
i am sure that it will. 1ozzy, back to the drawing board...
I'll sit back with a small bucket of popcorn and watch it unfold.
another nail for the Beeb's coffin?
if only dave...
Whenever I see an article by Laura Kuenssberg, I immediately assume the opposite of what she has written. That entire article is based on "sources say", "A former minister says", "one senior official summed up", etc, etc. It's very easy to make up a damning report when you don't have to name your source. We, of course, know there have been mistakes. Made however during the biggest upheaval in the UK since world war II, we, as a nation, seemed to expect, even demand, that the Prime Minister is an instant expert on leaving the EU, immigration,
vulcan - I don't expect competence in everything, let alone perfection, but I do expect honesty.
Sorry , don't know what happened, " and pandemics. Laura Kuenssberg is anti Boris Johnson as is the BBC in general. What used to be a world wide respected organisation is rapidly becoming the audio version of the Sun newspaper.
i think the knives are out, Cummings popped his head out and said that there was footage of the party, that it's only a matter of time before it comes out. What a nasty man he is.
Imagine that. A journo making things up. Wonder who her role model might be?
Oh dear! Outrage from all the saintly and sanctimonious AB'ers!
Im neither, but am concerned that this is going to rumble on and on and on.
Clarion, //Oh dear! Outrage from all the saintly and sanctimonious AB'ers! //

Funny you should say that. I've just said something very similar. Paragons of virtue all.
A shoot the messenger thread.

Of course there are times when people will not talk on record, but are imparting some truth. Politicians are interested in their further prospects, and will not publicly say anything that might hamper that. So they will talk off record. If this were one or two people, then it wouldn’t matter. But there appear to be lots of Tory MPs not happy with the way Boris is leading the Party.

Even the ultra-loyal Daily Mail were warning Johnson to get a grip and stop the shambles.

The BBC pick up on that vibe and suddenly they are accused of being anti tory, anti Boris, and that their days are numbered.

I don’t think Johnson is in any immediate danger, the timing is wrong. But he needs to take control. Things are unravelling around him, lots of stuff going wrong, it is a snowball that is gathering more mass the longer Johnson ignores it. Eventually that little ball of discontent could be an avalanche.
i merely posted the link because Cummings has the knives out for Boris come what may....
I don't think so but even if it does that won't put Labour in no 10.
No need to worry, TTT will be along shortly to post his undying support for Boris.
