various points arise : viruses dont usually mutate to mild in an epidemic - because that wd terminate the epidemic. So it wouldnt be an epidemic anymore.
The vaccine we agree ( seems ) to ameliorate the disease. And you can test for the vaccine by measureing antibody presence.
Three is better than two is better than one dose. - and we can agree on that because you dont die as much after 2 doses. So it works
What they have also said, is if your antibody level is 100 this is good, very good. And when it is 50 ( in lab units ) then it is bad. But this has not been linked with infection rate
They have also implied if the antibody is active against delta and the lab shows it is less for omicron, then omicron must be a danger. Actually you can wait and see if the omicrons die, and if they do says "oops it looks as tho they were right!"
and we are now into a week and they should have started dying by now

Moderna have said they think it is a problem, omicron, and he isnt allowed to come out with share price sensitive info without back up. So I wonder..... if the govt has stuff they havent told us....

It wasnt mandatory until today. They were told by Savid Javid to wear them a few weeks ago when they was criticised for looking arrogant compared to other partys and most of them started. Hopefully they all will now.
Of course as your a fair person gulliver who sticks to your principles you'll be condemming diddlydo who is refusing to wear masks as an act of civil disobedience

Who says his dithering (I know he often does but the scientists are all saying the actions is proportionate. Theres no evidence yet AFAIK thats its more dangerous than other variants. I think its abit early to be saying theres been no deaths (as PP said) but some are saying its effects are milder than others. Best just to leave it to the scientists rather than cause panic. Just tell your B mate diddlydo to stop refusing to wear a mask , thats a start
