First Minister
I listened to the First Minister yesterday. She spoke without faltering throughout and was clear, concise and precise. She answered all the questions head on and had evidence and robust information to support each response. Compare this performance to our Prime Minister’s recent embarrassing rambling.
I am full of admiration for Nicola Sturgeon.

'Given the harm she has caused and is still causing between our country and mainly the English, I for one don't want her to have the privilege of walking at her own leisure. I'd much prefer to see her led out of Bute House forcibly. Compelled to relinquish office. Then we can get back to restoring good relations again with our neighbours. The woman has a lot to answer for.'

Some of my good Scottish friends/bunch of subsidy dependent hangers-on.
Depends on the day of the week and which clique is braying at the time I suppose.
There is no appetite for independence except for the few with their paint cans, wandering the place and spraying 'Indyref II' on and reasonably flat surface.
Aerosols.

Pat/Bobbi -I made a generalisation about remarks made about Boris's appearance by many people on AB. Don't flatter yourselves the remark was aimed personally at you two, and please don't flatter yourselves it was 'bait'. This is News not Chatterbank -we tend to discuss things as adults over here :o)
"What I was asking Ich was actually what contribution Scotland makes to the UK economically, etc. "
No, you weren't. At least not in as many words.
I think you will find that Scotland's contribution to the UK is considerable (I can't put a convenient figure on it) in lots of ways, including military.

I shall have to do some research Red. I just wish to know how valuable Scotland is to us compared with what we contribute. Perhaps I just think of Scotland as producing beef and whisky and for shipbuilding. Why is it that the Highlands and islands don't want to leave the UK? I admit to my ignorance on all this.
