Was he doing it systematically over a long period tho?
Yes, I just heard this on the news. Not the shining beacon of tolerance he made out to be.

Doesn't change the fact that things need to change in the cricketing world, but shows that he's no better than anyone else.
Who’d a thunk? And him a victim too!
Hmmm, people in glass houses.......
Isn't there a saying about pot calling the kettle black? Hmmm. I must look it up.
Agree Mozz.
I bet many of us are glad some of the things we said in our 20s werent captured on Twitter etc and can be dug up.

Well there's that and he was only mocking a Jew, bob, eh.
19, and ten years ago. Has he done it since?
No but theres a difference between something said once , just once, maybe in heat of the moment and something repeatedly regularley.
If its found he did it repeatedly then hes in a spot
Sorry Roy, I think you were being sarcastic... missed that.
It certainly goes to widen the debate and shows that throwaway offensive remarks have been all too common for too long across the board.
If he thought it then, then he still does now.He is all contrite now that he has been caught out.As i said on another page, looks like a new inquiry into anti-semitism and Jew hatred should be on the next parliamentary inquiry list.
I disagree, ynnaf.... many of my views have changed since I was 19. They still do now.

If he can post this on a message board

I would suggest he was probably worse in private.
//If he thought it then, then he still does now.//

Absolute rubbish. Maybe you learned nothing to change your opinions between the ages of 19 and 30, but most other people do.
A lot of being air being punched in certain places I can sense.
Some of it hot …
Whatever he posted back then doesn't alter the fact he was systematically bullied and belittled by folk who were meant to be team-mates.
No,just a nasty biter getting bitten back. Before you make accusations of racism against others make sure your past is cleaner than clean.Racism versus anti-semitism?..is there a difference?

Is that meant to be serious ?
You do not think then that it questions everything he claims allegedly happened at the club ?

As I said on the Michael Vaughan thread I do question the mindset of someone who supposedly suffered for 10 years and was even captain !
He and his claims are now discredited and questioned
End of !
Will there now be a new parliamentary inquiry into anti-semitism within the English cricket establishment?I wont hold my breath.
