COP26 negotiations are scheduled to run from 1-12 November at the Scottish Events Campus (SEC) in Glasgow.

More than 30,000 people from roughly 200 countries will likely attend, but some associated events will happen online.

I hope these 30,000 people will flap their arms or walk there.

And according to Greta the UK are villains

And we are doing this.

Keep making the money Greta.

i too wonder how these activists get to these venues, wouldn't it be better to do a collective zoom, saves all that flying for one thing -
why doesn't Greta and others set about the Chinese government and the Indian one too, as they are the ones burning coal and causing all this pollution.
More hot air.
Climate change activists they are not, what they are, are anti capitalists who have jumped on this bandwagon for their own agenda. They want to destroy the economies of the west and they don't care what economic pain and suffering they cause.
The ostriches with their heads in the sand will be fine, as it is well known that flap as they might they will never fly.

we are the number 2 climate responder on the planet

Greta is misguided, she should be focusing on the bad guys.
There was a "virtual" meeting held in New York and hosted by Boris and the UN Secretary-General António Guterres not long ago. China, India, and the US did not participate. The president of Brazil gave it a swerve and put a glove puppet on air. Vladimir Putin declined the invitation. Those 5 countries are responsibly for most of the current pollution being produced around the globe. Someone tell the doom goblin.
I'm not sure what's worse, Greetin Thunderbird or the 'China' comments that appear here with monotonous regularity.
The question that might be asked is why is it necessary for each of the estimated 200 nations to send an average of 150 delegates. That's a small plane load each.

Anyway, China and India are doubtful runners. They've already missed many of the multitudinous "pre-meetings" so one can only hope.
Climate / whatever. As long as it keeps the nobs junketing is top of their list.
"Doom goblin"

I doff my hat Togo - that's hilarious.
Haha Dd. Hope you had a feather in that hat.

Meanwhile the La Palma volcano erupted with renewed fury after being accused of undoing 20 years of glow bull "strategy " and proceeded to ignore all entreaties to cease the madness.
Ta Webbo ... in the meantime stay warm. No mention of Ireland either. They are still burning peat to generate electrickery. Unbelievable.
Well on a more lighter note , whoever makes it to Glasgow might wish they had stayed at home . The SNP are running Glasgow into the ground ! Lots of streets are littered with rubbish because of all the cuts that have been made to services , Who was it that said Ships I see no ships. In Glasgows case its Litter I see no litter. We are just making a fuss about nothing. Well if they miss the litter maybe they will notice the rats that are running about the place ! Of course the Council Leader says What's a few rats , most citys have them , you can bet your sweet life she does not have them running about her garden. Ok rant over.
Bodeker ... I was reading that one of the big film companies had struck a deal to make a film in the city. Big money at stake apparently. Was it Disnaeland?
Togo very good :)
