There is a lot of anti-muslim feeling here on AB, and also some anti-christian feeling. I'd be interested to hear from muslims who have thoughts on this.

Good luck finding any Muslims on AB.
What about the anti-jewish feeling?

Question Author
Roy. Muslims, Jews - all welcome. But Islam seems to get a battering here.
What anti Jewish feelings have been expressed in AB Roy? I must've missed that.
Question Author
Iwas inviting muslim views not the usual crowd.
I think it's the bombers and knife maniacs that get battering.
Call me Isamaphobic but I think they deserve it.

Question Author
Roy, I was hoping to hear from muslims, not from anti-muslims. It would be nice if you could stick to your own interest group rather than come here. :-)
Roy, can you point me in the right direction so I can see for myself?
And when exactly was the last time anyone on here identified as a Muslim and wanted to chat about Islam?

Question Author
Roy; and mozz's polite question?
Question Author
Roy, perhaps you should go away and not butt in to a post aimed at getting a muslim response?
You don't get to dictate who posts on the threads.
Question Author
Roy; of course I don't. But why do you post on this thread?
// You may have but I havent.//
count me in as a misser - - is this me-too-ism?

the anti muslim feeling - reminds me a bit of the thirties -
everyone was either a communist or a fascist
( all ended with the nazi-soviet pact in tears )
By anti-muslim, do you mean anti-terrorist, Atheist? Perhaps you can point out some examples of muslims being criticised for their faith; it seems to be the rape gangs, bombers, stabbers and terrorists who get their fair share of criticism.

no I think he means anti muslim

Let us call a thing a thing and not another thing ( Butler )

TTT was quoting Q 5 - 33 earlier today, with Naomi as second fiddle and I am not sure but I dont think the Koran contains references to gang-rape, bombs and terrorism

I do recall an AB'er who advised he was a Muslim, but I can't remember who it was, or if he still posts.

The endless threads about Islam never seem to attract any actual believers in the faith.

Maybe they see sense and understand that trying to argue sense about Islam on here is the veritable definition of a lost cause.
Hazi - // Perhaps you can point out some examples of muslims being criticised for their faith; it seems to be the rape gangs, bombers, stabbers and terrorists who get their fair share of criticism. //

As you will know if you follow the Islam threads on here, of which there are many - there is a core of AB'ers who are unwilling and unable to make the fundamental distinction between a Muslim and a terrorist.

To avoid taxing their seriously limited mental capacity, they simply regard them as both being identical, and argue accordingly.
