You forget to mention team uk which is one of the 4 consortium's in your link. Value for money as to be a factor. Ideally all made here but maybe we don't have resources or capacity or charge to much. anyways nothings been decided yet , just being considred
they need to be thinking of the possibility that Scotland will secede and take its shipbuilders with it. (I've seen it suggested that they might have to have their nuclear-deterrent subs built aroad - crazy thought). England can't have misplaced all its ancient naval skills, surely? This would be a good opportunity to build them up again.

Smashing the Champagne bottle against the Bow.

Perhaps the United Nations should be awarding [ $£€ ] contracts for developing peace?
No use building them up here in Scotland. The Scottish government is still waiting on the delivery of two ferries from a shipyard in Glasgow.Millions of pounds of English taxpayers money has been thrown at the project, yet still the two ferries are half-built and rusting hulks.Might be finished the next time IndyRef2 comes around.(The twelfth of never)?
