You have to feel sorry for this nurse - struggling to keep the NHS afloat, but then her anti-vax Mum dies of Covid-19.

Sad

Someone posted that earlier, yes - it's awfully sad and frustrating.
Tragic and so unnecessary.
sad story
that is sad. You can only wish she'dlistened to her daughter - having a medical worker in the family and not giving her informed views any credence must be so distressing.
it keeps them all in one place, though, webbo.
They can't even spell Granny.
Right load of fickos. Trying to stop you having yer vaccines. Blumming cheek, innit.
They are not anti hospital when they become ill with covid .
Shouldn't let them in, Anne.
^ (for anything)
I hate this culture of sneering at people who die of Covid because they didn't have the vaccination. Would you sneer at someone who died of lung cancer because they smoked? Or someone who died of heart disease because they had one too many beef dinners?
Not quite the same...here was an opportunity to minimise the impact of the disease and they chose to ignore its...dillocks.
I agree with sj.
Some ABers sound far too gleeful about people dying of covid.

Nothing gleeful about it. A tragic unnecessary death.
"sad" seems to be the adjective most used.
No. Spice rack, no one can be refused treatment.
I also absolutely agree with 237, there seems to be some misconception that if you've had the jab you'll never catch it and you'll never pass it on either - both of which are untrue.
Prudie "I also absolutely agree with 237, there seems to be some misconception that if you've had the jab you'll never catch it and you'll never pass it on either - both of which are untrue."

but both are much less likely and vaccinated people by and large get it much less badly than unvaccinated. No vaccine is 100% effective.
^ Yes we know that but thanks anyway
