adults can't spend their lives trying to please their parents, but for all I know they're delighted antivaxxers.

He's not guilty of anything yet.
It's another sad indictment of our 'celebrity culture' that people think that anyone they have seen on television is fair game for an assault on their person in broad daylight.

We need to educate children that 'famous' people are people as well, and entitled to the same rights to safety and privacy as everyone else.

Yes really, Bobbi. The courts decide who's guilty. The evidence doesn't look good for him, but so far, he's not been convicted.

This man's apology may go some way towards his salvation and of course he is now without a job because of his actions.

Oddly enough, I thought that inthe 60's and 70's the way we educated and brought up our children came under severe criticism and scrutiny. THe modern approach was instituted with the abolishen of Grammar schools, the introduction of Comprehensive education and abolishing the concept of failure in children to inspire a whole new generation.
Corporal punishment was abandoned, the stimulus of free speech to our future generation would improve society as a whole, particularly violence in our society.

A lot of 'famous' people are amenable to having selfies made with them, you see it on the media all the time, Whitty is a shy retiring figure & didn't want to comply, they didn't mean to do any harm, they were just too boisterous & got it wrong.

Not necessarily, Bobbi, think of all those children brought up in the care system and spat out to fend for themselves when they become adults.
