As Emmie says, "A win is a win". Had Ryan Stephenson (Con) won by 300, there would have been one or two on here 'bigging it up'. I see the Odious George has vowed to go to the courts to have the result 'set aside'.

Of course if Galloway hadn’t been there one wonders where his 8,000 votes would have gone.
Sometimes a narrow win feels like a big win and such is the case here.

Not really a big surprise as it has been Labour since 1997. Doesn't make the tory majority any smaller either. Just Gulliver trying to get his fix of Boris into the news again.
