I hold no brief for George Galloway, but, as I've said before on AB, he's a formidable debater - something someone should have told Martine Croxall before she tried to take him on today on the BBC News Channel:

Lol. Perhaps if she wasn't so aggressive he might have put her in her place more gently.
As an apologist for Palestinian and Irish terrorism,i have no time for him. However he does have a charismatic appeal...perhaps the same charismatic appeal Hitler and Stalin had...
To be quite honest Galloway is no worse than Corbyn in that respect, except that the latter does not have the charisma. It will be interesting to see what effect his intervention has on the bye-election tomorrow.
He’s a dreadful man.
A rabble rouser who claims innocence and walks away from the trouble he causes.
Undoubtedly a fine speaker but sadly doesn’t use his talents to any good
I'm sure he'll be an indefatigable candidate.
looks like he's had a fair bit of pop in that video.
Goodness knows which bright spark came up with Labour’s blatantly racist leaflet, but George and Martine will succeed in splitting the Muslim vote. Good news for everyone else.

^Wonder who that Ad was aimed at. ;-)
Every time I hear his voice, I picture him mimicking a cat on Big Brother and I cringe all over again !
Not sure if he’s *** or it’s just the way he always talks. What suggests he might be is the fact that he doesn’t handle the interview very well. Keeps resorting to “is this a party political broadcast?” instead of answering.
Hello George: ever heard of devils advocacy?
Time and again he evades questions.

He’s a slimeball in a hat :-)
Or a cat in a hat, whichever you prefer …
Didn't handle the interview well? I thought he aced it and it's not like us to differ, ich.
Must admit to being slightly biased on account of despising the aBBC.
They remind me of Renee and Renato in that^ still up there.
Like I say, he just keeps playing the “you’re biased” card. It’s traditional for interviewers to put politicians in the spot.
I can only conclude he doesn’t like it up him.
Not in public anyway :-)
I have seen him do some very good interviews it IMO that wasn’t one
with the senate speech, he dealt a blinder - as TTT might foo -
flying over and saying "arrest me if you have any evidence!"

I can't remember what it was about - nuclear secret betraying spy or something - really a Labour politician who had skipped his science classes.

( shades of the Cyprus spy trial where the so called Viet madam flew over and said - "here I am, arrest me!". Trial abandoned and tommies acquitted

Naomi //Goodness knows which bright spark came up with Labour’s blatantly racist leaflet//
Desperate measure by a desperate Labour party.
I don't know how they're getting away with it, danny.
