And hear properly Naomi ;0)
What’s that all about haha , or is that just me ?
I don't think it's just you, bobbi. Apart from muffling sound, masks hide facial expressions. I dislike them intensely. The sooner we're rid of them and back to normal the better.
I got a lecture from my daughter last night on me saying I’m ditching the mask, “ Just because others are wrong in doing it, you don’t want to be wrong too”
( I feel a defiant stance coming on ) :0)))
I'll wear it when required as I've always done, but I'll be glad when it's over.

they´ll be a few surprises when the mask does finally come off, some good and some bad, lol.
Me too Naomi
Bobbi why have you decided to stop wearing masks? And is this in the shops etc too?
Well, I am exempt anyway, but OH has decided that 'enough is enough' and won't wear a mask any more. I've stopped wearing my lanyard.

It is having a terrible effect on young children. Recently I was in a supermarket queue for the check-out (all socially distancing), but across from us was a masked young mum with a little girl (just short of her 1st birthday) in the baby seat. As one does, I said 'Hello' to the child and wiggled my fingers in a wave. I got a completely blank look and she looked to her mum. Mum explained that the child had never seen anyone, apart from immediate family, who didn't wear a mask. It took me nearly five minutes to get a smile out of the child. Multiply that up and assess the effect on that particular generation --- not good.

...and some ugly.
Hi Eve, it was my ‘protest’ moment but I’m afraid I caved in and wasn’t so brave when I went out today and wore my mask like a good girl in the malls of our shopping centre although I’d always wear them in a shop / pub / restaurant

Wow that scenario with wee kiddie is shocking … but unsurprising.

It is very much the forefront of my mind throughout this pandemic what is happening to the psyche of our young, impressionable children.

That is a cost of this pandemic that we will see the toll of in the future!
Bobbi just do it….it gets easier.

I stopped mask wearing last week.

Yesterday was the first time I was (politely) asked to wear my mask.

AB/ED 08.42 And I don't deserve her snidey remarks either .
and did you eve?
Are you still having problems Gulliver, after calling me a liar and being proved wrong you just can't leave it, and that despite me just warning someone off trolling you on your Delta thread too.

As I said yesterday, please report me.

Apologies Piggy for my part in this diversion.

ps Interesting how you time your grumbles when you know the Editor isn't around.
Bednobs I did.

Figured that staff member either (a) had a job to do or (b) was genuinely fearful n believes masks are required.

So far that has been the only time tho. No one else seems to have batted n eye.
