Imagine a young, poorly-educated, white girl from the north of England who fell under the influence if an Asian grooming gang. Would people say to her that she's made her bed and must lie in it, continue on as a plaything for her recruiters? Or would help be offered to try and help her return to a normal life.
This young Asian girl was a child when she was recruited and seems to have been used as a brood mare when she got to ISIS territory. She doesn't seem to be very bright . She might have given a different answer when asked about beheadings if she was.
She was abused by the people who recruited her and now the government is continuing that abuse.

She may now say she was mistaken but she must like us all pay for her mistake, at least in the short term, whether the ban should be lifelong is a moot point, life may not be comfortable for her, but she isn't as far as I know in danger.
