as prime shining examples of perfect public health - official- sqad //

as a means of keeping the virus out of Australia, closing the borders has been successful. but what do they do now? the second they open the border, even only a tiny bit, the virus will flood in. so do they wait until the virus fades away, or the whole world is vaccinated? the population says "yes", but every month the border remains closed, the australian economy loses A$7.6bn (£4.18bn; $5.9bn), and this is without the hidden effects of separated families and the total cessation of their migration programme.

mushroom....re Australasia

You are quite correct, but it is a different ball game now with vaccines, with varying efficacy against variants.
When an outbreak occurs, then test, isolate and trace plus a local lockdown......not necessarily border lockdown depending on the results of the above procedures.

yes sqad as your registrar will have stressed back THEN
it isnt the penicillin and vaccine in the cupboard

It's hard to believe how many Con supporters on A/B have let Boris radicalise them, It's just like hero worship.
Gulliver // It's just like hero worship.//
It is obvious from your obsessive posts that you are the one who worships Boris

Cummings said , "I'd like to say to all the families of those who died Unnecessarily how sorry I am."
"Unnecessarily" How sad for those families.
Yuk!
I wonder if the sorry will be extended to all those undiagnosed cases that will kill people off?

Our Amazing NHS? Pull the other one.

After listening to Cummings It paints a picture of a Terribly Functioning Goverment, when the Country is in a desperate state.
Best you don’t listen then, Gulliver. You know you’re easily influenced.
Question Author
Carrie Symonds is trying to appoint her friends to particular jobs in a manner that is completely illegal.
Says Cummings.
It didnt take her long to form The womans own branch of the Con Crony Club.
After all you’ve said about him suddenly you trust him? What happened? Oh of course. He’s saying something that suits you. What a wag you are, Gulliver. A laugh a minute. :o)

Think Carrie will shortly be starting the
Downing St branch, of the "Knit and Natter" club.
Naomi would fit in well there
its when you start picking on specific people, then you lose the argument. Lets see what Matt Hancock has to say when its his turn to speak out.
Boris would have been quite justified in dumping Cummings at the time of the Barnard Castle affair. Instead he chose to protect him, and this is how he is repaid.
i believe that Cummings was on the point of leaving three times, but didn't, why ever not if he thought they were so incompetent, and doesn't that make him indecisive in the extreme.
Thought Hancock had already replied to the accusations levelled at him. Saying that he's always been 'straight with the public'. Then, minutes later, saying that "The number of vaccinations happening in Bolton right now is phenomenal, tens of thousands every single day." Government data shows that while vaccinations in Bolton have soared, their 2 best days were; May 18 with 3,493 first doses and 3,727 second doses on May 20. A fair few short of the 10,000 per day, in anybody's language.
