I don't think that the voters in Hartlepool will be likely to elect him.Oh! Come to think of it there was that incident of the monkey being arrested as a spy.
Not only arrested but also hanged.
It will be an interesting election. In 2019 the combined Conservative/Brexit Party vote was 6000 more than Labour.
could be worse, i did think you meant Mandelsohn - or did you....
If you ever go to Hartlepool, do not mention the monkey .. or you better be prepared to defend yourself !
What's he campaigning for?
Bigger keyholes in hotel doors?
Stuart Drummond served three terms as elected mayor of Hartelpool. He originally stood as H'Angus the Monkey, and to his surprise was elected, much to Labour's disgust.
Creep!
had no idea that Mandeslson was a Hartlepool MP.. this bloke looks like following in his footsteps. creepy.
Killick is not the Labour candidate; he is an independent with no chance.
i know, i meant that he is creepy like Mandelson.
The Tories have their eye on this seat, hoping to make another hole in the red wall.
lets wait and see....
I don't think he stands a cat in hell's chance, but I agree with some of his policies !
I'd like to see American style Primaries where candidates are selected by the local people before the actual election.
I don't like main parties imposing their candidates from head office.
That's more like local democracy.
Sadiq Khan will likely win his second term as Mayor in London...Not a man i can warm too to be honest.
Thought Ozzie Osbourne had gone into politics, then, TTT :-)

I worked in Hartlepool for about 2 months, a few years back. As i was billeted near Hartlepool's football ground, i made the short walk each evening for a nightcap at the Old Oak Inn where i was asked, "What's it like in Burnley?" To which i replied, "Not brilliant but we don't go around hanging monkeys." And i have lived to tell the tale.
Correction, the pub was the Mill House.
Got the sort of face you could happily punch a thousand times.
