Ukraine is not in NATO and not in EU (not that we are any ore) so why are we getting involved - yet again.

If Xiden hadn't gone gobbing off to Putin calling him a killer this may well not have happened. Might not have happened if Xiden took up the challenge for a live debate too. But then he cant can he?

Bring back Trump - No wars started under him.

World War One, involved us because of treaties signed by those in power at the time. If we had reneged on the treaty, the war would have been a far smaller, local affair. WW1, causes WW2 and so on. Strange how it always involves the bloody French. Vietnam etc.

You’re joking?
By the outbreak of WWI Germany under the Kaiser had built a huge war machine and was already threatening Britain.
It’s true that the way the war started when it did was a bizarre train of events starting in a faraway country blah blah blah but there’s a very good chance there works have been a war at some point anyway involving Britain and Germany

Let there be no doubt - Russia are our enemy.
Russia invaded and Annexed Crimea, part of Ukraine.
Russia are ruled by a despotic megalomaniac (like Hitler) and we should stop his expansionism and land grabs. The more we let Putin take, the more he will expand into other countries we are friendly with.

If you are saying we should give Putin a free pass to do what he wants, - more fool you.
Didn't Putin elect himself as president for life or something like that? Most untrustworthy person along with the Chinese government and Kim Jong Un.
Such potential expansion needs to be resisted or else one may find it too late to stop. First they came for the Crimeans, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Crimean...
18.09, Lets hope there is never a life time ruler in the UK . Just imagine the present shower ruling forever , perish the thought.
Luckily the UK is a democratic state, Gully. Doubt very much that would ever be allowed to happen :o)
It was just good fortune that thousands weren't killed in Salisbury.
That's what Putin thinks about the UK.
Why do people try and defend him
Gully: " Just imagine the present shower ruling forever , perish the thought" - well your lefties haven't won since 1974 me old china and I can't see them having a chance till 2034 so that's pretty close to forever in our life times! PMSL!
Ukraine is not in NATO but the Ukranian government has asked for help from NATO considering that their neighbour has annexed or invaded large amounts of their territory in the recent past... and let’s be honest NATO’s whole purpose is to contain Russia whatever is written on their website.

I do not blame Biden for warning Russia about this... the Russian government has never quite “gotten over” ukraine becoming a separate country and has felt entitled to bully them and cajole them ever since... they were dearly upset when their horrible little puppet was overthrown. I would not support military intervention though that is the last thing the world needs.

Mm... bring back Trump who avoided conflict with Russia by... doing whatever Putin wanted.

What a brilliant strategy
what else do you call someone who presides over botched attempts to kill people who er criticise him?

and just shrugs
I think Putin really did say to Trump

I will make you the richest man in the world just allow me to do what I want in Eastern Europe

and I think Trump said - sounds good to me
Crimea was part of Russia until 1954 when it was ceded to the Ukraine. At that time it made no difference as Russia controlled all the Soviet republics anyway.
TTT, with all the PMSL you do with unerring regularity, perhaps incontinence underpants would help you.
TENA TENA TENA perhaps?
@maggiebee

Thanks for Putin a smile on my face today today ;-)
Crimea had not been part of the russian republic for very long when it was transferred jack... Russia certainly didn't have any right to barge in and annex it.
also why is youngmafbog spelling Biden's name with an X
