I presume we're allowed to talk about it as it's all live-streamed on US tv.

ZM a psychopath and a racist. Haha I have seen it all now. ZM and I have had many run-ins but let me assure you Untitled (or should it be unhinged looking at the rantings on this post) ZM has never displayed the traits of a psychopath nor has he ever displayed and signs of being a racist. I think an apology is in order for this one.

Weird! I prefer neither, personally.
So you admit that Floyd shouldn't have been on the streets. Interesting.
Zacs - // AH - Were very familiar with your liberal attitudes to the criminal fraternity. If people like you ran the penal system, we'd be overrun with scum like Floyd. //

I'm unsure who the 'we' is - you are not Queen Victoria reincarnated are you?

You are certainly not in a position to speak for the AB community, so I would suggest you confine your observations to being your own - which I have heard before.

My attitude to criminals is not 'liberal', rather it is based on a desire to see justice and fair play, which are not the same thing.
Zacs - // So you admit that Floyd shouldn't have been on the streets. Interesting. //

Pixie is not saying anything of the kind - but you are stating something she has not said, and then criticising her for it - there' a rule about that!!!!

Mr Floyd was not on a wanted list, there were no warrants out for his arrest, so he had a perfect right to be on the streets.
Give it a rest, AH, for gawds sake. The 'we' meant myself and the others who've frequently criticised your over lenient attitude to criminals' treatment.
But you knew that.
Zacs, this isn't about Floyd. I genuinely don't understand why people are obsessing with a dead person, who can't do anything more.
To me- this isn't between one and the other, or good and evil. As far as I have seen- neither are angels, and neither I would particularly want "around". One is sorted, to put it bluntly.
So, the other... Chauvin, I actually find scary. I know a couple of violent criminals, who know they are. But, actually, they do have morals.
What I find terrifying about Chauvin, is not that he killed someone, but that he thinks it's ok. The arrogance of him, is the most dangerous and unlikeable part.
I never said I supported Floyd. I only said I don't support a killer cop either.
So what, exactly, did pixie mean in reply to my statement that I'd prefer to see Chauvin on the streets rather than Floyd when she wrote 'I prefer neither'?

Once again you are a self-appointed sokesman for a group of people you don't know, and who are perfectly capable of speaking for themselves if they wish to do so.

You are entirely welcome to criticise my view on anything an deverything, and I am equally welcome to take lots of no notice.
I'm not obsessed with Floyd and I can't see anyone else who is on here. As he is the reason Chauvin is on trial, it's fairly reasonable to mention him and debate his behaviour and criminal record.
'and I am equally welcome to take lots of no notice.'

Then please do so and stop being disingenuous about your reputation regarding criminals.

I assume that question is directed at me?

I am unable to answer it, becuase, unlike you, I don;t claim to speak for anyone else - if you want to know what Pixie thinks, why don;t you ask her, and if she wishes, she will answer.

That's how debate works - exchanging with someone whose view you want to discuss, not acting for third parties, or imaginigng you speak for them without their knowledge or consent.
I see you've not answered my 14.07 post.
'I don;t claim to speak for anyone else'

But you wrote 'Pixie is not saying anything of the kind '

What's that if not speaking for someone else?

I will post as I wish, and I am not interested in derailing the thread with a perssonal spat with you about what I think about anything at all.

Any further posts aimed at me and not debating the subject under discussion will be ignored in the interests of keeping the discussion on track.
'I am unable to answer it,'

Qute right you are because to do so would be to admit that Pixie said she didn't want Floyd on the streets. What else could 'I prefer neither', mean!
' I am not interested in derailing the thread with a perssonal spat with you'

That's exactly what your doing!!!

Pretty good point there, 14.13, Zacs.

Rightly or wrongly it's inevitable that George's previous actions will come under scrutiny both here and at the trial. Rightly imo.
Thanks, Spicey. Trying to debate Chauvin's trial without mentioning Floyd would be impossible.

On reflection, I should have prefaced my post with "In my view, that is not what Pixie is saying ... " rather than appearing to speak on her behalf.

Can we let it go now?
