I presume we're allowed to talk about it as it's all live-streamed on US tv.

ZM a psychopath and a racist. Haha I have seen it all now. ZM and I have had many run-ins but let me assure you Untitled (or should it be unhinged looking at the rantings on this post) ZM has never displayed the traits of a psychopath nor has he ever displayed and signs of being a racist. I think an apology is in order for this one.

He ‘decided it was worth the risk’? Did he? How do you know that, pixie? Ahhh ... of course. The supreme logic of Mr Spock. And you don’t make things up either.

This thread is a laugh a minute. It really is. :o)
Chauvins cause of death by the coroner was a heart attack brought on by drug misuse.
I didn't say his neck, apg, it was- allegedly- 9.mins and 29 seconds.
Thanks, shoota, that is possible. I hadn't thought about further involvement- only whether his actions had possibly caused or hastened his death.
We'll see apg... drug misuse no doubt played a part. Whether it was sped up by Chauvin, might become clear later.
Hope you are ok soon, naomi.
Thank you, shoots xx to some degree, fentanyl assists breathing, and further on, it deceases it. Some of it will depend on the amount and tolerance Floyd had.
The real question is, how much Chauvin had to do with his death.
Oops a daisy, pixie. :o)
So basically, from the link... they should have been doing CPR well before the 9 minutes were up.
Are you ok, naomi? Please just say, if you have anything to actually say.

Lots of, usually black, people make the most awful complaints against the police. Then when you see the body-cam footage, turns out to be a load of ***. See them on Judge Judy now and again and they're also on dedicated YouTube channels (if Susan Wiki Wiki hasn't banned them yet)
Can't put too much store by accusations, pixie. Especially the 'no further action' variety.
I was attacked in my bed by a roided up loon in a uniform once. Nice wake up call at 5am on a Monday, lol. So I know at first hand that some people shouldn't be allowed near a uniform.
APG, the defence attorney used the the 9:29 time period in his opening remarks.

"The evidence is far greater than nine minutes and twenty-nine seconds"

It’s never long before you trip yourself up, pixie. :o)
That's why I am saying the manslaughter charge may still be a runner. I think murder is dead and buried.
I don't think that the defence will have any problem justifying why CPR
wasn't started but I also think, at this time, I would have as long as I had realised that death had occurred.
If you say so, spice. Such a shame this was actually recorded, so people couldn't just lie.
I'm not actually convinced it is about racism- I would prefer to see all his other victims first.
Naomi. You are neverendingly rude and disparaging- without ever actually giving a reason. Forget your slippy-slidey for a second and actually try saying something I can respond to.
Thanks, shoots, I appreciate your views
Shoots, do you think race came into it at all?

Don't be such a shaming me. Learn some manners from me.
You bang on about Chauvin's 'other victims' and then say they were 'no further action' cases. I'm just trying to politely explain to you why that happens, alot, and it's nothing to do with racism.
All the cases where he was with 7 other officers when a black man got shot. It wasn't him who shot them. That's just the lurgen press throwing *** out to see is there anyone thick enough to believe it's sticking.
if your failings are glaringly apparent to others that’s your problem, pixie. My conversation with you on this thread is done.
I'm not, spice- I'm asking. He has 18 complaints about "brutality" against him. And now this. Like you, I have no idea if it is anything to do with race- or whether he is just an arrogant bully. It's likely to be one or the other, from his personal history alone.
I do understand why people disliked Floyd.
But I don't understand all the support for Chauvin.
Lol. "Others" being you, and even you can't explain it.
I feel sorry for you.... Good night x
Strangely enough - Police Officers tend to be prejudiced towards recidivist criminals of any flavour. But unless Chauvin had a professional death wish he would have done everything he could to avoid the death of Floyd.
If he wanted to top him an alleyway or other secluded spot would have been the logical location. Not in the middle of the street in front of a bank of witnesses with cameras.
