According to one paper today they didn't get married three days before the royal wedding. No, I don't have a link.

i was under the impression they merely had a blessing by the Archbishop of Canterbury....
I just don't care.
three days before the ceremony
I read about this just after the interview. A priest was concerned about how the marriage was conducted under the circumstances and contacted the Archbishop of Canterbury's office. It seems the "marriage" was the chat that brides and grooms get before their wedding, explaining procedure, going through the service etc
It was just a practice probably. Most couples have those prior to church weddings.

One wonders why this was not touched upon in the Oprah fest.
I think I've identified H!
Mrs sqad.s specialist subject....."Harry and Meghan"

She agrees with the post of roopower @ 14.16
I think the pair of them are delusional
They didn’t get married three days before they were supposed to?

I know lockdown is supposed to be boring but surely we’ve not sunk this low in our interests.
And some people can’t see what all the fuss is about Line of Duty :0)
Paigntonian Meghan told Oprah, what people don't know is, we actually got married 3 days before by the Archbishop of Canterbury in our back yard!
It's possible they may have exchanged vows that they wanted to do privately, or it could have been some sort of rehearsal, but it wasn't a marriage ceremony and she is obviously deluded if she thinks it was.
The archbishop has been approached by other clergymen to verify what happened, but he won't comment.
Most of the things she said are proving to be untrue.
I'm more concerned that "Meghan and Harry" is Mrs Sqad's specialist subject.

In all fairness, this may be because the marriage laws actually differ in the US to here (I think). What the DoS thinks was a marriage and may well have qualified for one in certain US states, was probably just an exchange of vows or a blessing.
Well, Meghan appears to think that she was married 3 days before the wedding at St. Georges Chapel !! That's what she told Oprah.....
Surely Harry isn't that stupid, surely he must have known that it wasn't a marriage ceremony, why did he go along with what she said?
It was probably the rehearsal that most British couples have nowadays. Americans don't need a rehearsal as most of them have been married several times so are quite familiar with the ceremony.
I think it shines a light on the intellectual level of this couple.
I went through a rehearsal for our wedding, and never thought for a second it was an actual marriage.
I wonder if Oprah Winfrey is hearing about how her interview with them is based mainly on untruths.
I think the problem with Harry began during the proper wedding ceremony when they got to the part where Harry should have said " I will" got confused and said " I wilt".
Don't most Americans get married in their backyard?
