Did anyone watch "Cashing in on Covid" Panorama last night, Mon.
The Con Crony Club at its best . Awarding millions of £s worth of contracts to their friends , with no contracts going out to tender and genuine suppliers being ignored. Discusting.

I blame Boris for the dish on ya roof :0(
There were some disturbing revelations.
That's how the Tory Party has always worked. Many years ago the country's railway network was decimated by a Minister of Transport with Family Interests in the Road Industry.

Who is this Dog food vendor, Zoe Ley, who made a £million pound for introducing The Cons to a firm in Hong Kong to supply PPE equipment, I bet Boris knew her.
we needed PPE, unorthodox approaches are needed in times if crisis. You'd be moaning just as loud if they didn't try.
Question Author
All suppliers of PPE equipment were recommended direct from ministerial offices . with no tenders asked for. How's that for the Con club then ?
I for one am not making a political point, what about the young woman who contacted the relevant department as her company had warehouses full of the precise PPE that the UK were short of?

She was passed from pillar to post and promised replies, she eventually had to give up as she was repeatedly ignored.
Depending on who is dishing out the contracts , it's all perfectly fine

20.39 Canary 42, "that's how the Tory party has always worked"
But why should they be allowed to give away tax payers money to their selected Cronies. Suppose their motto is make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
