Surely she’d have to drive to the airport via a COVID test centre?
Yes. But some of her family are still in the country and she may wish to say goodbye first.
Great news if it happens.

I also think if you posted like this more often (99.9% more often) I might read more of your posts.

hi roy !

oh,the covid post , that - only I know the EU has forbidden export to Oz - I suspected as much as I wrote it - but hey as they say - this is AB on a sunday
"Freed they say" - says who?

Freed but facing another charge:

Damn!I knew it was all TGTBT.
Question Author
no yes missed the other charge bit....

I wondered why the consular officials had not nailed her into a crate on the way to the airport and shouting - imshi imshi - yalla - mashi!

( arabic but it will do for farsi on AB)
I expect a PR photo opportunity of the Prime Minister meeting her a Heathrow, will not happen.
The Iranians should be ashamed, but I hope Boris Johnson still feels ashamed of his involvement in the case.
Will she have to go into quarantine on arrival?
On arrival where?
she doesn't have her passport back
no she doesn't, nor do i think she will fly home at time soon.
£400m might buy her her passport.
isn't that what they say we owe them? 400m
Question Author
no or yes
the other charge

five years as - - I have done nothing wrong, I am just a pawn in a game of "you owe me £400m" , "No I dont." game
what a life hey?
i wouldn't be at all surprised if she goes back to prison - i hope not for her and her families sake....

// but I hope Boris Johnson still feels ashamed of his involvement in the case.//

I hope it comes home to him as PM if he makes an elenchus ( * ) someone may spend 5 y in prison

ignoratio elenchi'
Boris Johnson uses a Latin phrase to say Corbin has missed the point and 'failed to study what we actually passed last night in that historic agreement'

elenchos is greek but passed to Latin and technically can be used for both a mistake and its correction.

( like "unbending" means you cant bend it or you can bend it but back to straight)
