Not sure how old the child is but it could of crawled or walked to it's death,idiots!

They ought to be ashamed. Risk their own lives, couldn't give a monkeys, welcome to the Darwin awards, but risk that of their child- disgrace.
ridiculous thing to do, they all could have been swept over the clift.

A couple and a child had to be rescued after they set up camp on the edge of a cliff in breach of coronavirus restrictions, the coastguard said.

How were they 'rescued'?
apparently there had been devastating land slips there, so one assumes the rescuers were also at risk, you can see from the pic that they were so close to the edge.
It would be nice to assume that everyone is as sensible and mature and forward-thinking and assesses consequences, and so on and so on, as we are.

Sadly that is not, and never has been, and never will be. a valid assumption to make.

A far safer assumption to work with, is that if there is a situation where someone can put themselves in mortal danger by lack of thought, someone will.

And let them Andy but even the lack of forward thinking should have a young child's safety at the front of their mind....clearly not here
... and what about the cost of the rescue operation?
They are probably related to the pair who went for a stroll round the harbour wall in the dark with a storm raging.
Still, people like that make us feel better about ourselves.
