about damn hell and blast time

text book example on how not to negotiate anything
And the 'remainers' said it wouldn't happen and, if it did, it would be a disaster. To paraphrase Thatcher, wrong, wrong, wrong.
Can anyone explain the fishing deal to this layman please?
Depends on the detail. If Boris has caved in on fishing he will never be forgiven.
I don't understand the fishing deal yet. Hopefully we'll get more information very soon.
I think they got more of a percentage over fishing rights but not as much as they wanted JD
“ And the 'remainers' said it wouldn't happen and, if it did, it would be a disaster. To paraphrase Thatcher, wrong, wrong, wrong.”

You are wrong.
I’m the biggest “Remainer” going and I’ve been confident all along there would be one.
I think it might have been the other side talking of disaster betrayal etc
I am with Ichkeria. I would have preferred remain but I was convinced there would be a deal and I really hope that everything works out well for the UK.
Rather obvious they’d have it done by today, now they can all sit back and be hone for Christmas with their families, whilst watching the world burn.

Warms the cockles of your heart, doesn’t it?

Paigntonian., forget that, it is now old news since the deal has been done.
That is a relief. To have left with no deal would have been madness, and that has been averted.

There were many Conservative members and supporters who didn’t want a deal. I doubt they will quietly accept it. The deal might be Boris winning his first battle with the Euro sceptics, but the start of losing the war.

I doubt Farage, Rees-Mogg, Cash and Bone will be happy tonight, so that’s a nice thought.
Good for you Boris, I thought you were going to leave us without a deal, but you proved me wrong.

That does give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside Sunk.
I bet Carrie will be getting a fuzzy warm feeling tonight too!
Europe was the demise of Thatcher, Cameron and May. Is this deal enough that Johnson will not follow their fate?
We shall have to wait and see.
