Apparently that is not enough. We have to be told by a beloved celebrity.
So who would tip the balance for you to have the vaccine?
Is it Ant or is it Dec? Timmy Mallet or Macca Pacca?

Who would persuade you to be vaccinated ?

Stephen Fry?
Sir David Attenborough?

Nah, Linda Lusardi.
Who would persuade you to be vaccinated ?

My colleague from Theatre who died of it in April.

Any conspiracy theorist who is flatly refusing to be vaccinated needs to be rounded up and darted or forced to live in a remote colony with their peers.
My dear friends parents who've just lost their son aged 54 to it
Jonathan Van Tam...he already has.
I don't need anyone to persuade me, I'll be having it as soon as it's offered.
Put me down for Professor Alice Roberts please.
I can't think of a better way to get folk to rethink and opt out.

I am with Eve...not taking too many chances and thoroughly sick of those who just won't do as they are asked and then put the rest of us at risk....
It’s a perfectly sensible approach.
Given the amount of scepticism.

You may well be right.

But after 8 months of this, do we really need to be persuaded by Joe Pasquale, Joanna Lumley or Jeremey Paxman to make a really obvious decision.

Is this not an admission that the Government has completely failed to communicate properly with the country over Covid?
I'd have it as soon as it's available.
But getting celebrities to promote the jab might convince some who otherwise wouldn't have it.
I would prefer not to be patronised by a bunch of A-Z listers.
Some may well need a little persuasion, maybe the young who may think they're invincible for example - someone they look up to and admire may swing it for them.

A case of finding the right faces and voices for a variety of people.

I won't need any urging.
It's simple - just announce that no-one gets on a plane without a jab and a negative test (Qantas are already planning to do this).

Suddenly the great unwashed mass of sceptics will be queuing up for a jab so that they can go on their hollibobs ...
Before we go any further, the vaccine doesn't actually deliver eternal life, does it?

I mean we will all still die at some point in the future.
That would be an Ecumenical Matter, Douglas
If ever there was a case for NOT including the churches, this is it.
“ Is this not an admission that the Government has completely failed to communicate properly with the country over Covid? ”

I don’t think so. Some people are simply naturally stubborn or gullible and you can’t always blame the government for that.
No celebrity would persuade me one way or the other. However the fact that some of you are so 100% convinced that others having it will protect you and are angry if they don't is concerning. This vaccine has appeared from nowhere with no time to analyse the outcomes, of course some people are going to be a bit reluctant.
