Michigan yesterday was the last straw.
He’ll probably never admit defeat: which is damnable.
But at least the future new administration can start to prepare more effectively
He seems willing to accept that the changeover will happen, though still not accepting that he lost fairly.
All time bad loser.
"He’ll probably never admit defeat: which is damnable."

Did you say the same about Hilary and the Dems who spent the last 4 years trying every avenue possible to remove him? I would say that was far more damnable, although I'm glad the POTUS has accepted defeat. I do just hope he doesnt copy the Dems last 4 years antics.
High time! Good to see his silly tantrum coming to an end and the prospect of his gurning face disappearing from our lives.
Interesting. Every word of what ymb just said was wrong.

He will never concede, ie publicly admit that he lost. He'll probably build a whole future career on ranting about how the election was stolen. That's if he manages to stay out of prison.
"Interesting. Every word of what ymb just said was wrong."

In you mind maybe.
Well, for starters, Trump has manifestly not conceded, at least not in word. He is still screaming about the "2020 Hoax", or "the most corrupt election in history", etc:

"What does GSA being allowed to preliminarily work with the Dems have to do with continuing to pursue our various cases on what will go down as the most corrupt election in American political history? We are moving full speed ahead. Will never concede to fake ballots..." (emphasis added)

So you were already wrong in saying that Trump has "accepted defeat".

As for the rest of it, there was none of this crap: Obama cooperated with Trump in the transition period, and Clinton conceded the morning after.
“ Interesting. Every word of what ymb just said was wrong”

Cheers jim
You’ve saved me the bother.
If ymb really cannot tell the difference between gracious concession followed by an enquiry into things which may yet resurface in the coming months
And a (I wonder what the collective noun for a series of woefully pointless lawsuits) —— of lawsuits accompanied by a hugely damaging and wholly unsubstantiated undermining of the country’s democratic system
Then I’m astonished.
I’d expect better of him at least if not of some others
There are two ways of dealing with the truth when you lose something -

You can accept with grace and dignity and earn the respect of both your friends and your enemies, and move on to a fulfilling life where you assimilate your loss into your life experience and let it inform your future.

Or you can be Donald Trump ...
I'll miss the old duffer!
Let’s hope his staying out of jail lawyers are a lot better than his contesting the election results lawyers.
Otherwise he’s going to chokey for a very long time.
//Interesting. Every word of what ymb just said was wrong”..

//Did you say the same about Hilary and the Dems who spent the last 4 years trying every avenue possible to remove him?
No I did not say the same and no Hillary ( two els) did not spend 4 y trying every av

I would say that was far more damnable, although I'm glad the POTUS has accepted defeat.
oops nope - the Potus - the most powerful man on earth that is! - has NOT accepted defeat

I do just hope he doesnt copy the Dems last 4 years antics.
there are no antics to copy

so // Interesting. Every word of what ymb just said was wrong”//
appears to be valid on the evidence
// You can accept with grace and dignity and earn the respect of both your friends and your enemies,//

yar dee yar - I dont know why they dont say that people are dying needlessly
easily shown in 2021 - Jan 21 - Mar you look at the edeaths after measures are taken by the new Pres. Plot against thos in Nov Dec and the excess is the no of deaths which were avoidable

ANd no ct case - the president ( the most powerful man on earth that is!) is immune from suit for damages following an exec order

Do the Americans have the concept of vexatious litigants in their judicial system?
It's not just Trumps personality which has been Diagnosed by Mental Health Experts, but also his Massive Ego, and love of bending the truth to put his own interests above his own Country. What a jerk.
Concede gracefully?
It's not a game of scrabble, fools.
It's about 70m people who voted for Trump and it's about democracy.
If you think there weren't a lot of dodgy things going on in the election, you must be walking around with your eyes shut.
Or watching the aBBC.
// It's about 70m people who voted for Trump and it's about democracy. //

What a fine argument. If only it had mentioned the 79.8 million who voted for Biden :P
Are you serious Spicerack? Trump lost fair and square.

America, the finest democracy money can buy.
