The president complains of “tremendous corruption and fraud in the mail-in ballots", without giving any evidence for his claim

No.

If he wins will it still be fraud?
Of course there isn't. He's been preparing this lie for months. He wants power by any given means, fair or foul.

Now he's badmouthing some of the States that are still counting, accusing them of having a history of voter fraud. Tool.
If there were fraud, would Biden not have won a lot more Electoral College votes by now?

What about mail in ballots for him

Does he think that no fraud ?
The man is insane. What will happen, is that the despicable lickspittle enablers in the Republican party that have thus far supported him for their own purposes will start to back off like rats fleeing a sinking ship.

He will be left surrounded by his family and a bunch of lawyers brandishing a huge bill.
If there were fraud, would Biden not have won a lot more States and by a bigger margin?
There have been pro-Trump supporters demanding the count be stopped and pro-Trump supporters in another State demanding votes be counted.

They're not even consistent about what they're protesting about...
// If there were fraud, would Biden not have won a lot more States and by a bigger margin? //

No Corby, that would be too obvious and easy. These evil Democrat fraudsters are incredibly cunning, and have magically conjoured up a situation where the vote is incredibly narrow and liable to be overturned by lawsuits. If the lawsuits fail because of a technicality such as zero evidence, that will just prove that fraud was there all along.
//They're not even consistent about what they're protesting about...//

To be fair, that's not true. They're consistent that they want Trump to win, irrespective of votes.
I've been following this, off and on, all day on CNN and what is becoming increasingly prevalent is the number of respected American politicians and journalists who are expressing that their president is questioning the fundamental process of democracy on which their country is based, and written into the Bill of Rights, specifically that every citizen has the right to vote and that every vote is equal.

I have no doubt that he will huff and puff for a few days until the new president's men "persuade" him that it really would be in his best interests to disappear for a while.

With the very latest numbers putting the split as 264-214 in Biden's favour and the increasingly likelihood that Biden has taken Nevada whose 6 electoral college points will push him over the line, what should be Trump's final night as president is all but a done deal:

Fun fact: the Electoral College isn't obliged to vote according to what the people say, but only according to how the States instruct them.

Second fun fact: if all of this crap makes it to SCOTUS then three of the judges will have been appointed by Trump, including one that was, not at all coincidentally, rushed through before the election.

In practice, neither of these will (or should) matter much -- I don't expect SCOTUS to rule that Trump is still President in 2021, and I don't expect Electoral College shenanigans. But I *do* expect Trump to try everything, short of accepting reality, in the next couple of months.
Trumps latest address...and his first appearance since Tuesday night. Scroll down for the full text. It's rather rambling to say the least...

If Trump was sane he'd be looking at how he could make the best of this and create a new TV channel or something to build on what he's achieved and continue to grow his cult following. He isn't though, so who knows what will happen.
In any other setting, this posturing would be only about Trump's image. He has made winning so key to his identity that he can't be seen to lose. So the only way he's allowed to lose is if his opponents cheat, and lie, and play games with the system (all while Trump tries the same, of course).

When cultivating his image takes the country's democratic system with it, though, it's unacceptable. It should be condemned by everybody -- but, of course, it won't be. Too many people have tied themselves to the Trump bandwagon, and either refuse to see the obvious, or refuse to ever condemn it, because to do so would be to admit culpability.

I’ve been watching far too much CNN the last week. The man is crazy. Sorry pasta I have no wish to insult your country .
If Trump loses he will face several prosecutions and will go to jail, so he is desperate to win at any cost.
Pasta, having watched your link I feel sorry for the man. Please can we all move on and get rid of these sad old men. Is there really no one better in the whole of the USA than these two to choose between?
Hopefully, there will be. But at least Biden knows what to say during the continued count (that is, "let the process finish and keep calm and patient", as opposed to "they stole it from us, filthy officialses!")
I saw that tonight Jim. Biden came out and spent about ten seconds saying keep calm and count all the votes, which is all he needs to do.

Trump does a cringeworthy twenty minutes rambling speech about voter corruption.

It's over mate. Be proud of what you achieved but for god's sake move on.
