O judge. A can see that hospital admissions could go up if peopel couldnt buy food for 3 weeks but am pretty sure you wont end up in A&E just because you couldnt change your socks. Why dont you stand for parliment if you could do better. A dont always agree with are first leader but think we should accept his in charge and follow he's rules and stop knitpicking
Gness - I don't 'refuse' to wear a mask - I tried. I started coughing and asked at the surgery, to be told that I shouldn't. Just had an asthma clinic today and my asthma is worse, I am now onto double inhalers 4 times a day (change in weather+ chest infection).

I gel my hands, stand well away from people and, as I said, tend not to buy my clothes in supermarkets. I don't wander around handling clothes - I pick up a few packs. Don't know why you are being so nasty, but I'm beginning to understand why you have gained a few antagonists on here.
It may be the drink talking. :-P
Internet Shopping? Du, wazz that then.
Drakeford is a total and utter spanner.

If the Welshmen (and women) I know arfe anything to go by he could well find himself strung up soon.
Jourdain. I care about the small shops. Family businesses built up over years. Unlike you I'm not going to buy my knickers and socks from stores that have billions behind them to weather this dreadful storm. All our shops in the village are closed but we have worked out a way, staying within the rules, to support them until this lockdown ends.
I also care about those who come into contact with people who won't wear masks.
If that's your idea of nasty it says much about you.
Gness so why is a microwave an inessential if you need it get a hot meal? This won't benefit small shops. People who want something will buy online. I honestly don't think it will stop browsers browsing, they will browse the other aisles instead.
Hes become even more popular here actualy since corona. The same for nicola sturgen in scotland. Can't the same for Boriss goverment.
the Welsh people I know are unimpressed.
Woof. There won't be many folk needing a microwave over the next few weeks. If they are in desperate need they know how to get one.
I must say we haven't seen much browsing here. Shopping ourselves and chatting about what is happening in stores to friends and family folk seem to be in for what they want and out again.
But if folk want to browse the food aisles then of course they will. Not everyone has the sense they were born with.
People struggling to clothe children will use supermarkets. I also believe in supporting small shops and patronise stalls in our village, the chap across the road who sells eggs etc.. How many sell packs of pop-socks do you think, gness? Or kids' coats cheaply? To prevent supermarkets from selling clothes etc. is to penalise the young parents who are really struggling. I can manage for a while - but I'm not starting out and nor do I have growing children.
Is bobbinwales's first language Welsh?

I assume it is.

Just askin'
I do apologise, Jourdain. I thought we were talking about a few days/weeks here.
You must have information that this is going to go on until children are naked and you can't get pop-socks.
It is planned for 17 days and I based my earlier answer on that, I also said that if it were to be for an extended period then the fairness balance would shift and create more problems.
/Is bobbinwales's first language Welsh?\

If it was he would call himself bobbyngNghymru.
17 days, Mamya. 17 days. Thank you. 17 days without pop-socks. :-(
gness if its not going to stop people sourcing items that supermarkets are not allowed to sell then why do it? if browsing is not an issue and its not going to funnel money into local shops then what is the point?
If your only TV breaks down 17 days is a lifetime.
I think folk can contain themselves for 17 days, Woof. And it'll be less potentially contaminated areas for the workers to to keep clean and sanitised because browsing is much more of an issue in non-food aisles.
And there was me thinking that Roy had much more about him and could keep himself and us amused and occupied for 17 television free days.
