Not at all, I purchased a tent from one of those cannabis seed places to bring on my Toms and Cues early as it was cheaper for the same tent bought from a horticultural site.

From what i've read, most growers bypass the electricity supply. So no matter what lighting is used, that part of the process doesn't cost them a penny.
