Personally I dont care and I fail to see why such a fuss. It's not as if he deliberately set out to do it and the whole things rot anyway IMHO.

So for me no fine, just a word from plod to be more careful - as most would receive in similar circumstances.

“A source told The Sun: 'It's clear that Jeremy realised immediately the danger the photo had put him in.“

That’s quite funny
Also Stanley Johnson visited a newsagent without wearing a mask.
Another party ruined by Corbyn.
^Haha! Very good. :o)

"Also Stanley Johnson visited a newsagent without wearing a mask."

Is he exempt or are you accusing him of deliberately flouting?
ymb if he was exempt he would not have needed to apologise, which he did.
Question Author
Not strictly true Danny. I have felt the need to 'apologise' to the Covid worshipers because I struggle to wear one.
Excellent, another 'who's the biggest entitled knob' thread.

More importantly how did our Jeremy manage to find all of his friends availabe on the same night?
Does that mean, according to the gospel of Canary, that Jeremy is a typical Tory Brit in reality ?
perhaps Diane Abbott did the maths for the guest list

Outside of Hamas and Hezbollah, who Corbyn famously and shamefully called “friends” I’m surprised he had that many friends to have dinner with.
DD
The Tory Government loved him as leader of the opposition. :-)
Just imagine the utter trauma of turning up for a bijou repas and finding whiskers Corbyn there also...
Retro: Yep Agent Cob and of course the abacus were our best assets, we will miss them.
I'm not bothered by him or by Johnson senior, but it will be interesting to see how the law deals with them in comparison with how it deals with the common people who break the new commandments.
A real slow news day. Go find something more important.

Anne - No.

jno, is there evidence of an 'ordinary' person being fined the first time? Especially on the back of a photograph.
Strange how a picture taken at a private dinner party inside someone's home "emerges" so that it can be published in the national press. This is especially puzzling when (one presumes) all those attending were politically of a like mind and had no real reason to "out" the former leader of the Opposition.
Question Author
Probably was put on TwitFace or similar.
Somebody must have a reason.
