What a disgusting act by diversity at the end. Must have choreographied by BLM.

A re enactment of the George Floyd incident. with a policeman kneeling on his neck.

It is supposed to be entertaining, not a platform for BLM.

Should neve3r have ben allowed.

Chelle, when I read a book or see a film, I have some idea of what it’s about before I begin. When I watch a talent competition I expect it to be about talent - and talent doesn’t, to my mind, include blatantly promoting a political agenda.

Really, wow. I've recorded it so haven't seen it yet. Thanks for the heads up, I won't be watching that!
mr mally and myself couldn't believe they did this on a family show .
We did think that there were a couple of good acts on though but like you didn't think this was the time or place for a BLM protest.
I switched it over at that point a Sparklykid , sick of having BLM shoved down my throat same as SOS Kids , yes they were cute and Greta Thunberg would be so proud of them singing about saving the planet , political statements should not be entered into BGT
I stopped watching it, thinking its out of order and I do like Diversity since they first appeared on the show.

Phew, glad it's not just me then.
What has it being a family show got to do with anything?

The George Floyd incident was plastered all over the news 24/7

I didn't watch it anyway. I might do now.
Really? I switched off shortly after the programme began - and I'm rather pleased I did now.
it's suppose to be an entertainment show and that wasn't entertaining at all ,very wrong of to include BLM in a dance .
Politics and crusades should be kept out of entertainment. Last year’s Last Night of the Proms had the soloist waving the Rainbow flag instead of the national flag. Absolutely wrong.
They look for a platform to push their ideals at you , the organisers are to blame for allowing political statements to creep into what is classed as entertainment
It's the norm now though isn't it - every damn thing has to be political? I used to love Ashley Banjo, but he's just another one jumping on the BLM wagon.
I did too ILM, if there were less 'ideals' and people pushing them 24/7 ,the country would be a nicer place to live in
Seriously?
Politics has always been in entertainment.
Never read or seen a book, poem, play, film, song or comedy involving politics? Of course you have.
Don't like it, don't watch, that's fine, but moaning that politics has no place in entertainment is just ridiculous.
I don't watch BGT but just watched Diversity's performance because of this thread. It was very good.
Hamilton is one of the best musicals I have ever seen, and that has had a lot of political impact.
Don;t like ti won;t watch, but what is the point in mopning about it?
Indeed it would Bobbi.
I've already said chelle, I'm NOT going to watch and I should imagine those that did last night didn't know about the carp that was to come!
The problem is they all live in a media bubble where everyone thinks the same and they don't realise they might be offending some people out there in ordinary land.
Chelle,I watched it then switched it over as I said earlier, why? Because I'm fed up with hearing about BLM etc, my Saturday nights I'd like good old fashioned entertainment , I'm pleased you enjoyed it though because that was your choice

I must admit I swore uncontrollably during the so called performance.

I like being entertained as an escape from covid, BLM and the like.

Hi Bobbs, spot on about SOS.
I think you've nailed it Sparklykid, we want escapism from what's now tedious claptrap everyday
