Did the men who stopped the terrorist on London Bridge with a fire extinguisher and animal tusk, get awards for bravery?
I don't recall seeing anything in the press about it, if they didn't, why not?

Misuse of a fire extinguisher?
yes - - no they had their day at court
the Court of St James's ( you know where Her Maj says "hello everyone - nosh over thair")

despite the failings of 2005 London, when the Manchester response went off spectac well ( led by clever Dr Daley ) - ungrateful ABers queued up to post: "dat wot they paid to do! day are " in their hundreds

such is the ingratitude of the British public
( queue "Tommy this and Tommy that" by Kipling)

There was mentioned on December they would receive awards.

I would have expected to see them in the Queen's Birthday Honours but just seen those have been postponed til the autumn to allow for those dealing with the pandemic to be included.
No I think it has been and gone Corbo
they said awards coming up!
the day passed ( without much - perhaps a mandarin in whitehall was knighted for organising paper napkins - or or tea breaks for the admin )
and they all said - well that is that - I think the day went quite well - dont you?
"Speaking from Downing Street last month, Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Secretary Oliver Dowden confirmed the honours list will be delayed until the autumn.

He said the decision to postpone the list was so honours could include coronavirus response responses."

Nelson answer - holding up magnifying glass

"I see no reference to Lundy Bridge." - copenhagen 1802 I think

I am not trying to vex you corbo - but I think it has been and gone

( coz I looked and the cupboard was bare. and some one said - just like Manchester - "do a good job and no one notices. " Rewards galore for Dunkirk, Gallipoli, Dresden etc )
surprised the LibFac mafia didn't prosecute them for GBH!

Mamy - It's like they all copy each other!
Don't feed the Trolls!
Quite a few Corbynites on site today:-(
Boris gave his Brother ,and Ian Botham a Knighthood each. One for playing cricket and the other for resigning as an MP, Thats the way to do it, sod that hero stuff.
What time are they due back?
One of the people who helped out was a convicted murderer, don't think the family of his victim wanted him to now be regarded as a hero
gulliver: "Boris gave his Brother ,and Ian Botham a Knighthood each. One for playing cricket and the other for resigning as an MP, Thats the way to do it, sod that hero stuff. " - Ian Botham was given the knighthood by St Tony me old china, do get your facts right.
They're both going to the House of Lords.
