Oh goody, moved on to having a pop at the royal family now.
No he doesn’t
Poor chap had a hard life. :0))
What a lovely ceremony that was. The Arboretum is an amazing place.
It was wonderful and some very moving scenes where Charles aided those struggling to lay their wreathes.

A fitting tribute.

15.17 yes , very hard.
Agree with Mamya. I was moved to tears and it was obvious that Charles was struggling with his emotions. He moved very fast, instinctively towards the elderly Sikh gentleman.
He's 71, he's not going to look a whole lot different from the gentleman he was there to meet.

I think he looks healthy for his age, but apparently he eats a good diet and exercises.
And gulliver and teacake can only mock, shame on the pair of them.
I think he looks good too.
* wreaths - sorry for the extraneous 'e'.

It's rather low to have a dig at something so important.
My word what a heavy chip Gulliver has on those shoulders.
Prince Charles has an easy life?? Rubbish! He is one of the hardest working Royals.Just one example-- Earlier this year Charles and Camilla carried out over 50 engagements in 9 days when they visited Bosnia,Cyprus and Jordan. No turning over in bed in the mornings or not turning up for work ,like some ordinary workers do. They have to get on with the job in hand no matter how they are feeling.
Just for once Gulliver couldn't you relax and stop being so bitter .

16.46, and 16.41 stop twisting this thread to suit you ,I am not having a dig at the Occasion I have every respect for the Vets and what they went through and I thank them and admire them , But when you see Charles, with more medals on his chest than they have and the soft easy life he has led , he just did not look much younger than they did , so do not try and twist this thread to make me look mr nasty OK. The shame is on you Vulcan and Mamyalynne
I was just pleased to see VJ Day being commemorated, it's often pushed to one side. On the 50th Anniversary of VE day I recall my mother being furious on behalf of those who had been still actively engaged in the Far East, such as my Dad.
Was this event planned all along or was it there because the VE Day commemorations had to be cancelled?
This should be in jokes - ‘so do not try and twist this thread to make me look mr nasty OK.’ You started the thread!
