On the 2nd JAN this year, Boris stood on the steps of Downing St, and announced with a double thumbs up sign........"This is going to be a fantastic year for Britain".......Little did he realise then, what was ahead.
Boris is not famous for his honesty, but that day he did not realise he was telling the biggest unintentional lie of his life.

How can anyone feel sorry when he sends his most able ministers to the back benches and replaces them with people like the duplicitous Gove and Gavin Williamson whose ambition far outweighs his ability. Then he appoints his brother to the House of Lords and along with his former editor at the Daily Telegraph.
Gove, actually, is one of the better ones. And we all know what he really thinks of the PM from 2016 :-)
I’d say the Williamson/Truss/Patel/Rabb axis of incompetence is where it’s really at :-)
It you’re absolutely right: many of the better people were banished to the back benches or the Lords and it does look like he prefers to surround himself with weaklings.
I quite like the PM: but he’s in the wrong job
Grumpy - the OP is about BJ telling a "lie" because in Jan he said it was going to be good year, even though it's turned out to be a car crash.

Gulliver is, absurdly, suggesting that in Jan BJ told a lie, the inference being, I think (I say "I think" because I'm trying to second guess an idiot) that BJ knew it was going to be rubbish because of Covid.

I could be wrong - I'm just trying to second guess somebody who is retarded.
I tho we can all agree the OP is nonsense.
Let’s not have the target unfairly protected just because of that :-)
Judge not a man by what he says, but by what he does.
Oooer....
The person I feel sorry for is Gulliver. I agree with DD's last sentence.
anyone think starmer would have done better, or bourbon coyrbon

I think we all agree Bobbi. We should pity him.
I tried to ignore him, but my tolerance level is very low today.
