Harry And Meghan In The News Agoin Today.

Prince Harry and Meghan are in the news again today as it's reported they have moved to Santa Barbara and also the release of the book Finding Freedom.
I have been wondering for some time if members of the Royal family are likely to read this book and also if they read the amount of criticism that this couple receive in the media, or perhaps they are more selective in what they read.Your thoughts please.

There was a programme on Channel 5 last Saturday about Harry and Meghan based on the book. A couple of weeks ago in Saturday times a few pages in the paper were about this book and the same day at least six pages in the magazine accopanying the paper were also devoted to it. For a couple who want a more private life they're certainly promoting the book to every advantage.

I did read that someone asked an aide to the Queen if she thought the Queen would read the book as was told that she wouldn't. All speculation as usual.

why would the Royal Family want to add to the mountain of royalties dosh that Harry and Meghan will probably amass - however I would expect someone/some persons from 'Sue Grabbit and Run' to read it on behalf of the Royal Household.

Photographs and articles on the Royal Family increase sales of newspapers, they always have done......even when they have nothing to promote.
H&M are newsworthy just because of who they are, add to that the fact that they have a book to publicise and, of course, they are going to be everywhere.

A spokesman for the Sussexes, who now live in California, said they had not been interviewed for the book.

A statement said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom.

"This book is based on the authors' own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting."

There are some hilarious and scathing reviews of this tripe.
Meghan,apparently, impressed Harry on their trip into the African bush when she showed willing to creep into the grassland to have a pee. ( bathroom break). God there is soooo much more riveting info divulged but is is mainly an simpering,accusing ,whinge from the extracts I have read.
The funniest review of this cringefest came from the Metro.

I'm not sure if H&M needed to promote the book as I believe it is already a best seller, but although they are saying they were not involved in the writing of the book, people who have read the book feel that isn't true.
