Only the one room. He has five bedrooms, so presumably has four to spare. He could get at least twelve migrants in them. I dare say his neighbours in Barnes will be well pleased.
However.....I'd like to see who receives their token migrant first - Mr Lineker or Nicola Sturgeon/Yvette Cooper. The latter two made a similar pledge around four or five years ago. As far as I know they still have an empty spare room. Must be a hold up with the paperwork.

It's interesting isn't it that someone making the offer to help is only considered to be doing some good if they provide the amount of help others consider enough.
Whilst I accept that Gary has not housed anyone as yet and indeed may never do so, I find it quite nasty that he'd be called out for falling short of some others pompous expectations.
