Upgrading With O2..Confusion!!

I have just upgraded my tablet with O2,which also came with a Sim card to use,thus having a different number to my old tablet.So it looks to me that as well as paying for the new tablet and tarrif, I will also be paying for the tarrif on my old tablet.I only wanted the new tablet and thought it would come without a number, and put the Sim from my old tablet in it.Tried ringing but it was all automation, there is no longer a live chat on the website like there used to be?
So can anyone tell me if I can use my old Sim and just pay for the new tablet.?

Yes ,online, was only expecting the new tablet,no Sim ,as can use my existing Sim. Thank you

Yes they emailed contract etc.

Does the email specify the new terms of your contract?
Log in to your account and make sure you are being billed for only 1 sim card

Incidentally, O2 are running what I consider to be close to a scam.

I bought my phone, a Galaxy, on their finance plan. My monthly charge before financing £26.....After a year, I was flush with funds and bought the rest of the plan out. First of all, they tried billing me for insurance - not their decision and their local rep went ballistic at the HO. More appalling though was that, for exactly the same terms of usage as to minutes/bytes etc, my monthly dropped from £26 to £14.75 - so beware, on top of the financing charge they are skimming more than a tenner per month off you.

I looks like am paying for two tarrifs (sims).Going to phone the O2 store in the morning, if I can't get to speak to anyone tonight.The Live Chat used to be great.
