I think its a cop out.
HaHa, any relation to Cressida?
I love the Mail's prurient approach to anything to do with Ugandan Matters - they love to titter behind their fans and exchange glances and think about how naughty they are.

They love phrases like 'outraging public decency' - I wouldn't be surprised of there is a framed portrait of Mary Whitehouse in the Editor's office.
It'll never stand up in court!
I'm intrigued by the term/euphemism (?) "Ugandan Matters", andy. I've never heard it before
"Ugandan relations" has for many years been a term used in Private Eye. Can't remember the origin.
//It is in this way presumably that some of the more colourful and enduring euphemisms were coined by Private Eye. Tired and emotional for drunk: "That was to do with a Labour politician." Ugandan relations became the phrase for sex, usually adulterous, back in the Sixties. "That was to do with James Fenton, a poet, who was caught upstairs with a Ugandan princess at a party. When he came downstairs he had obviously been doing what we thought he was doing but he said he'd been discussing Ugandan affairs. It was an immortal phrase, so from then on it was Ugandan relations or Ugandan affairs.//
We live and learn. Thanks
And of course there's the way to tell someone to 'go forth and multiply' - "I refer m'learned friend to the defendant's answer in the case of Arkell v Pressdram".

I find it very odd. They are both accused of the same thing. He was her superior officer, he is married he has extra charges yet she is the focus of the article. Sexism is alive and well in london
Possibly because he is no longer a serving Officer.
Three stripes and you're out.
I must ask you to accompany me to the station, please come quietly.
He took her back to his house at 999 Letsby Avenue
it just drves me mad - snigger snigger "she performed sex acts on him" but you know what, he did too! (on her)
Maybe it would help to open a window and tae a few deep, calming breaths, bednobs.
it's just the casual sexism that bothers me. I'm probably hormonal (or hysterical :))
I wonder what his Certificate of Commendation was for ... shagging junior colleagues, or the covert foot photos.
